I think the fabric is lovely, Shipping prompt, Instructions good. A problem I had was cutting the strips for the fabrics that were checks/geometric. I had to be careful to cut with the print rather than the grain. I then adjusted the strip by pulling cross-grain to straighten the horizontal and vertical and checked the accuracy of the measurement. I followed all the tips for pressing, new needle, and checked the tape marking on my sewing machine bed. In spite of all this care, my block 1A measur...

I am a serious sewer and love applying a good press throughout the construction process. The thick felted wool ironing board pad creates an ideal pressing surface on my extra large ironing station. I cut the felt to fit and celebrated by sewing up a new cover in a pretty toile. I saved every bit of scrap for future projects.

I don't know how I did it, but I lost two of the little squares, and I had to buy the Oops kit! But that's by no means anything against my kit, it was all on me. I'm really enjoying this BOM. I was pleasently surprised with the quality fabric I received from Love Sew. It is definitely premium quality fabric that you can tell will have longevity after making the quilt. You get enough pieces to start your journey and the cuts are just gorgeous to look at! You get the fabric, a cardboard envelope to store your pieces in, and plenty of guidance to get your project underway! This is a great, build able, month to month program that will satisfy all of crafting needs! I would recommend!

It was super easy to make! The directions overall were great! My only advice is to double check the distance from the needle to the 1/4 inch mark on your sewing machine or presser foot to ensure that you are sewing at the correct seam allowance. Also, double check that you are cutting the correct fabric. There are two that look very similar, but one had a BEIGE background and the other had a BLACK background. (It says so on the instructions too!) I was excited to start sewing, so I didn't notice...

High quality and easy to work with fabric . A couple we know who have been sailing the world is leaving in a week or so again. She loves the quilts I make .Not the best in quilting, however I trusted the precision 2 1/2 cuts and I was able to make this nice lap blanket in 10 hours. Used a thinner polar fleece backing for warmth and quick drying. Yea, I might even buy this jelly row again it was so wonderful!

All went well. When doing the Quarter Square Triangle unit, the instructions say on Step 1 to draw a line on the back of the Cream block. It says the square should be 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 but the cream square should say 5 1/2 x 5 1/2.

I finished these blocks. I did notice the directions on cutting the Block 9 Dark Blue 1, the directions said to cut 8 and I needed 16 squares for making the 8 Flying Geese. On Block 9, cutting instructions for Dark Blue 3, it said to cut 16 and I only needed 8. other than that, it went well.

Your patterns are amazing. I made a lot of mistakes because I didn’t read far enough. Although it took me three days to cut it out, the pieces went together beautifully, and it turned out great. I will definitely buy from you again but would pay extra to have a kit already cut out.
