I love doing these. One little tidbit. On Page 2 of Month 7, there is a small error in the directions. Under Step 2, Navy 1 should say 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" instead of 3 1/2" X 3 1/2'.

I can't show a photo of the finished quilt, it is in the shop to get long armed. The colours true to the advertising, it came out lovely. Most of the pieces of material are large, It went together quickly, this was nice for a change for me.
My only advice to anyone doing this quilt is make sure you read the directions, they can be a bit confusing especially to a new quilter.

The instructions are well written. I especially like it because the instructions tell every step and also which way to press the different block seams. The blocks go together easily as there are pictures of each block as it’s being made step-by-step.

My 12.5”X 12.5” square ruler arrive with a chip out of the bottom left corner (shippers fault). I contacted Love Sew, explained the problem, and I received a new one in 3-days. Thanks for a pleasurable return experience.
I love this 12.5” X 12.5” square ruler. I can easily see the black angle lines. I like that the 1/2” spaces are frosted, and the 1” marks are clear; which makes it much easier for accurate cutting. The best part is the blue circle 1” outer markings. It’s a great tool.

I am very pleased how the ruler grips the fabric. I am making 115 pillowcases for a charity project (half finished) and my new ruler has already been put to good use.
I want to compliment customer service on promptly replacing the 1st ruler, which arrived broken, despite being wrapped and wrapped and wrapped. They were wonderful and responded quickly.

I haven't sewn anything in many years. Great first project, needing to relearn cutting and sewing accurately. I thought this pattern would be an easy way to begin, but found myself not enjoying the randomness of the colors. Next quilt will have fewer different fabrics and more of a consistent pattern.

I have a Continum II quilt frame and had an issue with a part. When they sent the replacement, they sent the outer frame legs; they didn’t want them back... Made lemonade by adding the board. With the iron mat, which was a perfect fit, I now have an ironing and cutting station! So much nicer than my old ironing board! Pressing is so much easier!!

I can now see the thread from the spool to the needle as well as the 200 stitches listed in the cover above the thread so I can choose them to program them without using the flashlight!!!!
