I moved up from triple 27 1080p’s with a cheap triple desk mount to 3 brand new 32 curved 1440 screens with the GT triple floor mount. What a difference. The screen do not move at all. My old setup would move if you breathed on it wrong. I was always worried the 27’s would come crashing down. I saw this floor stand on a racing rig on YouTube and had to have it. Everything is amazingly sturdy, much more so than I expected a wheel stand could be. My only gripes are the non adjustable shifter location and the fact that the shifter plate isn't wide enough to fit a handbrake on there simultaneously. Last gripe: it's a little flighty when really pushing it, I've had my sequential shifter (pictured) end up scooting the whole wheel stand up if I'm not careful about how I downshift. Bought this because I had a Next Level Racing cockpit, needed the monitor closer while pushing the wheel platform further away and wanted to go to a full 8020 cockpit and thought I would try out GT Omega. This was the best rig in the price range I was looking at. I really wanted an aluminum extrusion style cockpit just for the customization it offers and the many upgrade paths it offers. I had a small issue with a part but customer service stepped up right away and replaced the part and fixed it. I'm really impressed with GTOmega and am very happy with my purchase. Absolutely love this stand, rear frame, and monitor stand. I started with just the stand, and was excited to see that I could upgrade it as my setup changed. I currently have a DD1 and V3's with the brake upgrade. This thing is really sturdy, the only movement I have on this is from the makeshift wood mount I had to use for the OpenWheeler brand chair. I purchased the Apex stand for both my Flight Simulator and racing setup. While it is not designed for flight simulation it works well after some very minor modifications. The keyboard and mouse tray work out well and are rock solid. The only minor thing I did not care for was the rubber surface for the mouse tray. Assembly wasn't too difficult. It helps to stay organized and lay out everything before beginning. The seat is very comfortable with plenty of adjustment. The need for a cup holder became apparent quickly so we'll rig one up soon. I noticed this was a feature on some other racing cockpit designs. As an avid sim racer for over 25 years, yes I'm old, I finally have a seat that is actually meant for sim racing.
