I can set it up or fold it away and store it (with the wheel, pedals, and shifter attached) in less than a minute, which is much quicker than it used to take me to mount each item on my table (with the added advantage that the pedals are always at the right position. It is plenty sturdy enough, and I do not notice any flex when playing. It's nice and heavy, and the rubber feet keep it from sliding in my apartment's fake wood floors. I recently got into sim racing, and found that my desk clamp-based setup was lacking. Decided to upgrade to a T300 and was looking for foldable stand options. I was recommended the GT Omega Classic and Apex, and decided to get the Apex as it was coming back into stock not long after I was looking. I really love the Prime cockpit. Older reviews had some negative comments (brake plate flex), but the areas of perceived weaknesses have been robustly addressed. This cockpit was easy to assemble, fit together very well, had loads of extra hardware, and is as ridged as granite. My braking has improved along with cranking out consistent lap times. I've had a GT Omega PRO cockpit for about 7 years now and the original seat was failing. (No fault of GT Omega - Just usage on my part) So I went with the RS-12 to get away from the vinyl which doesn't go well with sweat during an endurance race. The seat installed in about 90 minutes and would have been faster if I would have figured out the bolting of the frame onto the sliders and not the frame itself. This stand is amazing for its price! Great build quality (although mine did have a some paint dust on one side frame but it wiped clean.). Easyish to put together (could use a better manual). Using a base Logitech G29 and it fits great, feels great, and have never experienced any flexing! I'm pretty impressed with the quality of this setup. Having first seen this build on Sim Racing Garage's Youtube Channel, I was a little skeptical of the peddle floor plate, however I've experienced no flex and have a pretty decent set of peddles on it, (Fanatec CS V3's with the Heavy Springs and Dampeners). This was my second cockpit and a pretty big upgrade from my Apex. The build was pretty seamless, didn't have any issues other than the plastic caps for the extrusions having pretty flimsy caps that break surprisingly easy - nothing my 3d printer can't solve. I was looking for a foldable but sturdy sim stand and with all the options out there, I couldn’t imagine a better product. Descriptions and photos don’t do this justice. I Purchased two of these tops. Originally I bought one for the GT Omega ART frame I have setup with the Next Level Racing® Motion Platform V3. BTW it works well with the ART frame but you have to do some modifications to get it Mounted. Gt Omega could easily provide an adapter for this add on.
