I purchased these shoes to have at the back door to take the dogs in and out. They are perfect for that -- waterproof, slip resistant and comfortable. They will be great in snow. Probably not good for walking distances on pavement as the soles are soft.

I have had double full knee replacements and have a high instep. The cushioning in these shoes is outstanding. Although, I wear inserts for my insteps, I can still feel the cushioning. These shoes make working out with my outdoor fitness program and walking so much easier on my knees.
