The Customer service is absolutely the best online experience I have ever had, I have bought from a lot of sites and it is scary putting out big money and not knowing if the reviews are true or not. But I am telling you. I am horrible at using my Macbook pro but I use it because it is the best, So the laser works on a Microsoft based program. I had so much trouble instaling a VirtualBox program so I can put Windows 10 on my laptop just to run the program to run the laser. Even with the youtube v...

The Mandalorian, “Baby Yoda” “The Kid.” I LOVE this machine! It was very easy to set up and use. I have zero experience with laser cutters but this was very user friendly. I have cut/engraved wood, acrylic, and leather. The customer service was great! Would highly recommend , a lot of bang for your buck.

Finished up these cute lanterns. Laser engraver and are fully customizable. Cant wait to play around with more glass stuff @universal_engraver. It just took 2 hours to assemble the laser engraver. It was really fun to assemble it. The Software is the best part, It is damm easy to use, just pick and drop the image in the software.

15. I bought the 20w setup, it took about 30 mins to put together while watching the video on youtube. Everything came packaged securely and was easy to unpack. I tried lightburn and lasergrbl and both are easy to operate. I was burning images same day. I really enjoy this machine and it is fairly priced.

Received my Laser Engraver and router attachment today today, have it installed with no problems. Since i do mostly carving , it great help in keeping the wires from hooking into the clamps, causing disconnect for spindle. This Router attachment is the best machine i have purchased in my 77 years, i m a wood craftman/hobbist. thanks to the Universal Engraver team.

Have use this on wood and ceramic material...and trying it on aluminum. A neat item to use for a variety of things... We got it for Christmas and I have used it for about a month. The machine arrived well packaged. Assembly was easy and all tools were provided by Universal Engraver.

I bought a 40,000mW Blue laser and CNC router, and had never used a CAD/CAM program, brilliant start! when it arrived in a box, a big box with lots of small parts, I thought I may have bitten off more than I could chew...I was very daunted. I've spent the last week or so playing with this, and after setup, it's been a pretty great machine. Otherwise, it has been fantastic. I've got the 40w version and it's been cutting through 5mm plywood quite nicely. I've yet to have any issues with power or accuracy and I've done several projects already.

I've only had it a week now, but I've made good use of it! I've cut cardboard, 3mm acrylic and 3mm plywood. It's very consistent when etching and super accurate when properly focused! I especially like the smaller foot print compared to the older unit I own which is a big square frame. I highly recommend this!

There’s no two ways about it, it’s a great piece of equipment. Focusing the laser is easy, the ability to see *exactly* where the image will be engraved is excellent. You can position with such accuracy . I have only done leather and plastic pieces so far, You can realign and go over it again with precision to get a deeper more pronounced etch. This is a wonderful machine. I have been using the laser for a few weeks now, and after going through the learning curve, I'm impressed by how well it works. You'll need to experiment with which settings are right for which material, but once that's found out, you can create them. So far, I've tried the cardboard and foam they came with, paper, wood and acrylic. Works well.

Wow the ease of use, portability, and quality blows my mind! I love universal engraver, and have used it a lot in first two weeks of having it. All parts were very fitting, I was also very pleasantly surprised that there was still a reserve for all small parts, if one loses one during assembly. I would say this was one of the best engineered and manufactured micro engravers. The package includes all hardware, and software as well. The instructions were mainly pictorial that were simple to follow. After a simple assembly the machine worked perfectly. Highly recommended.

I have a small woodworking business, Creative Grain, and I needed to start laser engraving wood items for clients and shops I sell at. I went with this machine because it was cheap, it gave me the idea of how lasering would go, and I had another woodworker friend use it and he liked it. I am pleasantly surprised with this unit. I did not expect the unit to cut as well as it does. I can cut wood and acrylic. The edges look good! Still trying out the laser engraving. I had a question for support while the unit was being shipped and they answered it within 12 hours on a weekend! I have several Laser engravers and I must say this is a nice one. Assembly was super easy. It works with a lot of programs that are out there, more then most engravers. Best of all it produces nice results. I bought this one to specifically engrave on slate tiles and I could not be happier with it.
