First ,the Produces amazing details for the price. I build a lot of products and so far, as these pictures ! the laser has not had any issues. I have used it close to 80 hours (of actual use) in 15days and it has always turned out very nice. The accompanying software is more intuitive than I thought it would be. I love this system . As far as the software, if my 9-year old can figure it out, you can too... I'm incredibly pleased with their communication when I had an issue and their willingness to resolve it! Take some time practicing with different materials - it will be well worth it!

This one works GREAT! I wish this one had been my first laser engraver as it was so easy to set up and get my first image burned onto a small piece of wood. Maybe at some future time I might consider purchasing one of the larger, fancier laser machines that cost a great deal more, but for a GREAT introduction to laser work, this is a wonderful machine.

I absolutely love my lazer engraver. I purchased the 15000mW it came packaged extremely well took some time to put it together but was well worth it. It has taken so reading, research, and alot of trial and error but I have finally figured out the ins and outs. I have burned wood in both design and photograph, learned to cut wood and also have been able to cut paper and felt as well as sticker foam as long as it is a larger item due to the foam melting with smaller details. This is a decent little laser engraver. it comes with a video that is very clear and easy to follow. I had it together without much of a problem in just over 30 minutes. took the precaution of watching the video completely before starting.. I purchased the 40W unit. Given that this was my first step into laser engraving I had no idea what I’d need. The 40W laser is plenty powerful enough to engrave wood, leathers, paper, metal, Glass and cardboard. I’m probably going to be ordering the rotary tool for this to cut bottles and round wood objects.

This thing is a tremendous amount of fun. It is NOT a toy. For the price, it can do quite a bit. I do not regret purchasing it at all. Makes me want to sit in my office for hours playing with it and trying new things. Also, makes me want to buy a bigger more expensive machine with more capabilities. For ceramic this is great. Working on tile now.

I bought this for my wife's birthday she hasn't received it yet but I went ahead and assembled it set it up and focused the laser. so far I have tested it on a few materials and I am absolutely blown away! Seems very well built. They seem plenty enough for the machine but they're awfully thin. if you're considering the 40 watt version it will etch beautifully on wood and powder coated metals

Five stars, received software before I received the laser. Great customer service for sure. Every email I sent was replied to right away. The build instructions are a video. I found it easy to use my cell phone and pause video between steps, just do not get ahead of your self. Build only after what you see don't assume next steps. I built mine in about 3 hours taking short breaks. It works great also.

As far as the quality is concerned, for an entry level engraver, I was shocked. WThe image is crisp and clear with plenty of detail. Using the varying power setting will allow the laser to do darker and lighter shades easily.

I am pleasantly surprised with this unit. I did not expect the unit to cut as well as it does. I can cut wood and acrylic. The edges look good! Still trying out the laser engraving. I had a question for support while the unit was being shipped and they answered it within 12 hours on a weekend! I have had nothing but good experiences with Universal engraver guys and their machine. Great starter unit.

This is a fabulous machine. I love this little machine. I only do engraving on wood but the possibilities are endless. this is a great little machine for engraving on wood and other materials. Some really nice results on coasters, cutting boards and creating a logo.

Great!! Better than a starter laser. 40"X40" workable area. Pretty easy to assemble Quality materials, Very accurate out of the box after setup. Completed one project so far and looking to keep learning on it. Overall extremely happy, I was satisfied enough I went and bought the Rotatory cylinder attachment for even more projects.

Louisiana State Flag Barrel Head clock I made the other day. Just thought I would share!!!! So glad to finally have a Z axis, now to figure out a way to mount a laser pointer for finding my start point instead of test fire the laser leaving little dots that may not end up in a burned part and f the image.

I usually do not write reviews. However I feel like I need to do this one. It took me almost a month to purchase small laser. I was going back-and-forth between three products. I don’t have any experience carving, I have no experience using a laser, I have never even seen anybody use one. I have to say I am very happy with this little one. For the work that I needed to be done which was keychains for my business this little thing that amazingly well.

Works like a charm. Easy to assemble and use. As you can see by the picture it is possible to use it on a curved surface (ink pen). Most will tell you it is for flat only but with patience and tweaking the settings it IS possible. Great purchase at excellent price!!
