Major Fitness B52 Pro Smith Machine The Major Fitness B52 Pro is an extremely complete machine for any home gym. Its construction is solid and stable, giving you a great sense of safety even when training with heavy weights. It combines a Smith machine, functional cable system, rack, and multiple attachments, allowing you to train virtually your entire body in one single station. The pulleys feel smooth, the structure is very sturdy, and the variety of exercises it offers truly replaces severa...

I am a new B52 Pro owner. Ordered in mid-November 2025 and rec'd all boxes within 7 business days. For my review, I'll start from the beginning and walk you through what I experienced. In terms of the assembly, I am NOT a handy man, so, I was a little thrown off on several things. 1) I learned that not all pulley wheels should rotate during cable exercises; ALL pulley wheels ONLY rotate when you move the hand carriage up or down. 2) YOU MUST securely bolt / tighten all BASE screws BEFORE you pl...

I bought the B52 with bench and bumper plate package as the primary piece of equipment in my new home gym. It’s amazing and very much worth the money. I don’t think there’s a single muscle group I can’t work with this machine. I did upgrade to the weight stack which is also well worth the money. The weight stacks make changing weights exponentially easier. The only minor disappointment I have is that the springs and safety stops for the Smith bar prevent it from going low enough to do hip thrust...

I recently purchased the B52 Pro from Major Fitness, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. The machine itself is incredibly versatile there are so many workout options that it feels like having an entire gym in one compact setup. Whether I’m lifting, pressing, or doing functional movements, everything feels smooth and sturdy. Setup was surprisingly easy too. The instructions were straightforward, and the animated video made the whole process even simpler. I had the machine fully assembled...

Put this bad boy together over the weekend and am IN LOVE. Took me a solid day because I didn’t have any power tools, but my husband was able to watch our baby while mommy put together her B52 and it was so fun! Solid piece of equipment. I’ve used it for 3 different workouts now and I can confirm that I am still in love. The cables run so smooth, the accessories are amazing, and it is the perfect all-in-one home gym piece of equipment! My hubby and I are obsessed! I also bought the adjustable be...

The B-52pro is a fantastic machine! We put it in a room that only has 8-ft ceilings which is why we went with the B-52 instead of the b17. One thing I'd note is the b52 has a two-to-one pulley ratio whereas the b17 does do both which is a huge upgrade. That said, I think this machine would be perfect for just about anybody who is looking for an all-in-one trainer. Additionally, you can of course add the weight pins onto the weight stack which give you some added weight. I think that's needed if ...

I have been eyeing this cage for months, continuously coming back to it. I finally bought it and I'm so happy I did. Nothing beats the gym vibe it's giving my garage, and the option to just walk a few feet and have it there for me to use is unparalleled. I'll start with my top favorite thing: it has so. many. features. The cables, the landmine, the different accessories. I can work out any body part with this single system. A whole gym in one, for the price of pretty much a year's gym membership...

B52 Pro (Black) Very pleased with how easy this was to put together. For the most part it is a one man job. There were a couple times where I had my daughter hold a piece up for me while I inserted the bolts. Otherwise I did not have any issue setting it up or any hardware missing. The durability of this from just setting it up seems very promising. I just finished putting it together so I haven’t truly put it to the test, however I can’t see there being an issue. The cables seem very smooth f...

I recently set up the Major Fitness B52 Pro Smith Machine, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the quality and versatility it offers. From the moment everything was unboxed, it was clear this is a well-built piece of equipment. The steel frame feels extremely sturdy and durable. Assembly took some time, but the instructions were straightforward, and all parts were well-organized. What really stands out is how much functionality is packed into one machine. The bars glide smoothly, and having t...

I have an older style Major Lutie SML07 I bought in December of 2023. We loved it but thought it was time to upgrade to the weight stacks. I ordered the stack and pulley bundle for the B52 along with the weight stack pin extender. I should've asked some questions prior to the order as the bars for the weights are closer together than the plate loaded setup of the SML07 (my fault so no deduction on review). After some small modifications to bring the bars in to the correct distance everything...

The B52 Pro functional trainer is a very solid all-in-one home gym. My son and I assembled it in about 7 hours. I highly recommend watching a YouTube assembly video while following the manual—it makes some steps much easier. One important tip: decide exactly where you want it before installing the weight stacks. Once assembled and loaded, it’s extremely heavy and very difficult to move. Build quality is excellent, the frame feels very sturdy, and the pulleys and Smith machine run smoothly. It gi...

The Major Fitness B52 is an absolute beast of a machine—especially for the price. Assembly was straightforward; being mechanically inclined, it only took me about three hours to put together. I lubricated each pulley with silicone spray, which made the action super smooth and whisper quiet. Training on this machine is amazing, especially for supersets. I can move seamlessly from the incline Smith press straight into cable work without missing a beat. It’s a versatile, budget-friendly powerhouse...

Assembly was straightforward and the unit goes together well. All the parts fit. I had no issues with holes not lining up. My only advice is there are 6 bolts that come up from the bottom. Each page of the instructions warns not to tighten anything until assembly is complete. My unit is on a padded exercise floor and by the time it was completely together there was no easy way to tighten those bolts. I had to use a crowbar to get enough space to get a wrench on the bottom. I think it w...
