I've now replaced the tuners on 4 of my PRS SE guitars with these. WIth the universal mounting plate, I find these look great and stay in tune beautifully. It is also a reversible modification. These have replaced brand PW as my go to tuners. The fact that they are quality American made also makes me happy. I even like the stock buttons! after 40+ years of guitar playing, it's good to have found the best in something.

I've been using Hipshot fixed bridges for longer than I care to remember. Year on year they are always the go-to for fixed-bridge instruments. The range of intonation is more than generous, finishing is crisp with consistent quality. The bridge's simple design flatters the rest of the instrument by not taking it over whilst not being the nasty "folded sheet" metal look. Incidentally, gold saddles mounted into a black base looks truly awesome.

If you always wanted to try a string bender, this is your best choice, hands down. It's extremely easy to install, play and if desired, remove from the guitar. The playing motion feels natural and is easy to learn - much more so than anything else I have tried. The bend is long and very musical, much like a pedal steel. I have a new EB MM Stingray 4... 2 band eq that is my favorite bass....but I miss the low B string on my 6 and 7 string basses.... Not anymore ... The double stop Xtender allows me to drop to a D and click again to a low B... I now have a 4 string bass that does what a 5 does without the extra "get in the way"factor! Hipshot rules the from the "bottom" to the top.

I play in a a band (El Sledge+) in which the guitarist employsthe NST (New Standard Tuning), a C pentatonic tuning where the guitar strings are tuned (from lowest to highest) as follows: C-G-D-A-E-G. I really like this bridge. It's solid, simple and easy to adjust. Changing strings is fast and when removing an old string all you have to do is loosen it enough to enable it to slide to the side about a quarter of an inch to remove it from the bridge.

Bought one of these for my Epiphone Les Paul Standard bass and it was worth every penny!! I took that bass to Boston Guitar Guru Jim Mouradian for some neck work and a set up and he could not stop raving about the SuperTone. A much superior bridge to the obsolete 3 point bridge still used on Gibsons and Epiphones. I can't recommend this bridge enough!!! I'll be buying one for my Thunderbird soon!!!

My Son and I installed these tuners on his Ibanez guitar. The Universal Mounting Plate worked awesome!! I will say the Ibanez tuning peg holes are 5/16" Dia. These tuners requires a hole just a little bit bigger than 3/8" Dia. We carefully used drill bits to widen out the hole one size at a time until we reached 3/8". Superior to the original Gibson bridges, by far! I rescued a 1971 EB-0 slot head that was striped of all hardware, and was so glad to find this superior bridge available. This bass now has no dead notes, and excellent sustain. I once had another 71 EB-3 slot head with the Gibson 2 point bridge, and that had dead C notes on the G and D strings.

What the world needs, or at least Hipshot locking tuners, is a button to match Gibson "tulip" tuners as used on 335s, Les Pauls, and some customer shop guitars like the Johnny A model. I'd love to have locking tuners on my Gibsons, but don't was that particular aesthetic to change. I do have a set of the HS buttons on my Fender Strat in black: great tuners!

This is a drop-in replacement for over-sized hard tail bridge that comes with the MIM Cabronita. These are great guitars, especially at the current blow-out prices, but the saddles are made for a 2 1/8 sized bridge. The Cabronita requires a 2 1/8 sized bridge, such as the Hipshot 6 string fixed. It's a breeze to put in, lines up the strings properly, intonates much better than stock and sounds and plays great. Make your Cabronita better and put in a Hipshot.
