I put a BRASS A Style on my 2013 USA PBass and the difference was night and day across the board, it made my PBass the instrument is should be. Plus Hipshot is made in America and a real human will take the time to talk to you on the phone if you have questions. AWESOME product, AWESOME customer service. 5 Star all the way.

My Lakland 55-02 came with the HB6C-1/2" Ultralite tuners and they are precise and stable. That made it easy to decide to use them on my G&L JB-2 Tribute. I removed 7.2 ounces (!) from my JB-2 headstock by using the HB6Y-3/8" Ultralites. That's a good thing.

Like Bill, I found a neglected '71 EB-0, that had been stripped of everything (including the finish). As part of my effort to return it to playable condition, I installed a SuperTone bridge. I have a Hipshot style B bridge on my custom built Jordan bass. All I can say, is that the adjustments are quite easily made, and the unit, as a whole, is rattle free. I would recommend this bridge to anyone seeking a a "modern retro" style set-up. Money well spent.

The chrome-plated brass is great...added sustain and treble boost. I installed it on my Fender 5-string Jazz Bass (MIM) and it completely transformed the instrument! A couple of the features I like on this bridge are the massive range of intonation that the movement of both the saddles AND the area attaching to the posts give you. I have just installed a set of these tuning machines on a project guitar I recently finished and I'm quite pleased. They're beautifully crafted, extremely smooth and effectively combine the retro look of an open gear tuning machine with a modern mini keystone-like button. They work great, hold the strings securely and tune the guitar very precisely. I'm very pleased with these tuners as I have been with everything I've bought from Hipshots. Great product guys!

I have these fitted on my Veillette Paris 5 string and they are great. Really clear tone from each string and the sustain is terrific! Only thing I'm not sure of is how to adjust the intonation if I need to, and it'd be nice to have a spare set of saddles for non tapered core strings. Overall though, another great Hipshot product! I purchased and installed a brass bridge to replace the original Hipshot aluminum bridge. The difference in tone was immediate. With the brass, I got more clarity, crystalline bell like top end and overtones. It was almost like installing new strings. I installed a full set of HB2’s on my Japanese Fender Geddy Lee Jazz Bass and I liked them so much that I decided to install the BT2 to go with it. Installation was a breeze. It took only a few minutes and now my Jazz Bass goes from standard tune to drop D in one quick flip. I can actually change tuning during a song, and change back and the bass stays in tune the whole time. Now THAT is cool!!!

I put this on my Fender Modern Player Telecaster Plus. It didn’t work. The strings barely cleared the frets. Sent it back today. Going to get the angled up one to replace it. Holes lined up well (not perfectly but good enough).

To the commentor above. The orings can be replaced easily with a simle trip to the hardware store. The rubber rings are as plentiful as plumbing washers. For a buck you can get a lifetime supply. I think you would sell more of these if they would fit on a .250" solid shaft CTS pot. I love them but I have to drill them out every time. There is a trick to that too. Remove set screw completely insert pin or other rod into hole, place in wooden-jaw vise so that the rod stops it from turning in vise. Drill out with 1/4" machine drill.
