As tuners go they look great and are probably just fine. I bought them for my new Fender Vintera 60's Jaguar hoping that the universal mounting plates would cover the screw holes from the vintage tuners that came with the guitar. I didn't completely install the tuners. I just laid down the UMP's and inserted the tuners to see if the original mounting screw holes got covered. Unfortunately they didn't. Even after sliding the top UMP up as far as it would go the screw hole for the original high E ...

Always love the Hipshot products! Only issue is when ordering chrome, I was hoping the backing of the gear and pinion where going to be chrome but were like a brush finish.. I do have many other sets that chrome all around. Not a big deal but would have liked the option to choose

Hipshot products and organization on a company-level is good. I just needed to adjust height on a guitar that I knew had hipshot saddles so I ordered an individual saddle in the hopes that they would include the Alan wrench. They did include it, wish they sold the Alan wrench as a separate purchase

I have a 7-string trem bridge from Hipshot on my Kiesel DC700 and I don’t like it. Here’s why: 1. The trem is HEAVY 2. The trem arm is too high from the body 3. The trem arm contact joint gets in the way when you put your wrist on the bridge or when you want to reach the knobs 4. I cannot find the right adjustment for the trem arm. It is either too tight or too lose 5. The screws to lower or highten the bridge are right under the outer strings. So you have to push the string a bit to the side to...
