They're good looking and function fine but the rubber o-rings are prone to something resembling ozone cracking. It would be nice to see another type of o-ring material used in a future revision perhaps.

Having a Hipshot Xtender is the way to go! Being able to drop tune in a second, makes any Hipshot Xtender a must on every bass.

These are great tuners!!! They make my 68' tele look very original. HipShot should make an aged version of these since they fit old 60's-70's basses.

It's good, but for extended range guitars like an RGD, restringing the longer / lower strings can be a bit of a pain to get through the saddles since the string holes are behind the saddles. If the saddles were open backed like on the gibraltar bridge it would make things a lot easier. The sustain is insane though once you get them through. Will also probably order shorter grub screws since I like a pretty low action.
