My daughter had a scary experience in a parking garage across from her apartment-one in which she previously felt safe. I immediately ordered Birdie for her. She loves that she can push a button to either make the sound, or call someone who can verify her safety. As a mom, I feel better as well. Whole there is no price for peace of mind, Birdie is very affordable for the service. I have been telling everyone.

I was having trouble with my Birdie "chirping" at random (and inconvenient!) times. It's over 1 1/2 years since I purchased it and it's been on my keychain taking a beating-so I just inquired if it was a problem they were experiencing with older Birdies. No questions asked-it was replaced! I truly was not reaching out for that reason. The customer service (along with an outstanding product) was fantastic! I had originally purchased 6 of these and cannot recommend them enough!

Fortunately I have not had an occasion to actually use this, but just having it in my hand any time I feel I might need it is comforting. I LOVE my She's Birdie and feel soooo much safer when I'm hiking. I've ventured to trails I haven't hiked before, not feeling concerned wild animals or humans. I showed it to some of my hiker friends and they'll be ordering- even my friend's husband! He's sure it would scare away bears and coyotes. What an awesome product!!!!

I got it for my daughter to scare off the mountain lions that have been found near her home in the mountains in Boulder Creek California. Just what I have been looking for. I got the bright color because it keeps mountain lions from mistaking humans for deer. I tested it, and the noise is indeed very loud, and will have a good chance of scaring mountain lions away. I tested the birdie after I opened it. It is definitely loud! I feel more comfortable being out in public and taking Uber on my own. It brings me great comfort know I can pull the alarm to get help if I am ever in a sketchy situation.

So before I purchased I read lots of reviews that said "it's so loud" or something similar and I thought "ok, that makes sense, of course it's loud". Duh. Now I've received my Birdie and done the "test" as suggested. Now I get it. It's much louder than I expected and I have a burglar alarm. It's like, wow, holy ****! loud. I was ready to put the pin back in, I swear I was, but I couldn't get it back in fast enough!!!
