I ordered 4 of these as Christmas presents for my family and 1 arrived not working. I reached out to their Customer Service and they were very apologetic and immediately sent out a replacement. Not only do I feel more comfortable knowing that my family has some protection but I am also confident in their customer service that if a problem with a Birdie should arise, then they will stand behind their products.

Thank goodness I have not had to use it. It is very loud; the light is very bright. I received one as a Christmas gift last year. When I went to change the battery because the sound no longer worked. While changing the battery I noticed there was a wire loosened. I contacted customer service; they graciously replaced my birdie. Excellent service, now I feel I have some protection again. Kudos to Birdie for the service they provide.

I have purchased 10 Birdies since September for Gifts +my own. I truly believe in them. Twice a month I am in an area that is very dark when I leave. I always have my birdie in my hand and feel confident walking in this area with my birdie. Prior to having My birdie, I felt uncomfortable. So I bought one for each of my granddaughters, daughter-in-law, daughter, and a friend who walks. They are beautiful and elegant . It is hard to believe they are an alarm system.

Bought one for my wife and daughter in law.Daughter in laws a teacher so ,hello,she really needs something.Also got OC spray for them.In these times you need something with you and these can save lives.If it saves 1 person from being hurt or worse ,there worth billion. I love my birdie and I hope my friends do as well. I bought 8 birdies, 1 for myself and the rest are gifts for friends. I love the idea of being able to protect myself without having to use harsh chemicals. For one, they have an expiration date and secondly they can get jostled around in your purse and accidentally spray. I had a friend that that happened to. Hi there! I purchased the Indigo color for my Birdie and I absolutely love it! The color is so vibrant, so it's easier to locate for it. I bought one for each girl in our family. Our oldest daughter was followed from a restaurant where she parted ways with friends on her way to her car. She was very aware and was able to pretend to meet up with a woman nearby (this woman also noticed two men tracking my daughter). This was early evening in a busy part of the city. I think it’s a dangerous world for young women. Anything we can do to ward off attackers/kidnappers, the better.

I would like to know why you push this for women only. My husband and son have jobs that place them in areas where this would be helpful should they find themselves approached and they are by themselves. However, because you advertise with women only, they guys tend to avoid this product. I purchased these for all my family and now the men don't want to use them. Very sad
