Product was great, shipping took very long though (2+ weeks) in Canada. I also found the same product much cheaper on Amazon.ca after I purchased it from the Birdie website (and it would have been delivered in 1 day had I gotten it from Amazon...)

I’ve bought birdies for myself and every woman in my family. It gives me a feeling of security that I haven’t had before. The noise is piercing, the flashing light is excellent and I love the look of the birdie. It’s easily attached to a handbag or concealed in a pocket. Love it!

It actually was a gift for my daughter. We really haven't used it yet. She can't have it in school plus she is very apprehensive about it thinking it will be pulled easily. I'm still happy to have it when she is out with friends when the time comes.

Perfect size. Have not put it to the test yet, but the sound is impressively loud and strobe light very strong. I don’t think a potential attacker would want to be anywhere close if that were to be activated;-). I am feeling more secure knowing my college daughter has it on her at all times.

This company knows customer service. My original birdie quit work and battery replacement was unsuccessful. This company replaced my birdies at no charge. There are very few companies today that stand behind their product and offer the type of customer service I just experienced. I would reccommend 100%- not just the product but the company behind it! I love the product. However, I wish it came with a battery recharger. I also wish I didn't have to turn it off & on. I'm afraid I won't remember to turn it on everytime I leave the house. Turning it on while being assaulted is unrealistic i believe. And to remember to turn it back off when i get home. ..not so practical. Thankyou.
