It’s loud! I tested it! I got one for myself being a senior adult who walks with a limp. I got another for my daughter who goes out into crowds and travels to big cities. It’s nice to have something as a line of defense that is so easy to carry and use.

I got in touch with the company they immediately sent me a new one. I was so impressed with their quick and kind response and then the fast replacement. I think their company is wonderful. I love the product. However, I wish it came with a battery recharger. I also wish I didn't have to turn it off & on. I'm afraid I won't remember to turn it on everytime I leave the house. Turning it on while being assaulted is unrealistic i believe. And to remember to turn it back off when i get home. ..not so practical. Thankyou.

I got one for my daughter and she took it camping with her and her 8 year old daughter in the Uintahs which you hike into. She didn't need it, but was glad she had it. Even though she took bear spray she thought the alarm would scare one off plus people are really rude and will just walk through your campsite. So she also took it for that reason. I have given Birdies to my girls and several friends. I like to know they are safe. If the time comes where they feel threatened or unsafe, I know the alarm chirping and strobe in their birdies will ward off any altercation. It will also alert others .
