This was my very first time pressure canning and I was scared. My husband kept saying, don’t blow us up, which didn’t help. But honestly, it was not very scary at all. Half of my jars didn’t seal but that was because my headspace was off, I think. I rescanned the ones that didn’t seal and was more confident and successful. I’m anxious to can more. This is an awesome canner! After returning a competitors model that wasn't compatible with my stove it is even more impressive. The thickness of the aluminum is very confidence inspiring. First two batches got almost 6L of veggie broth out of the freezer and a batch of carrot pickles. Works very well on my glass top stove and cant wait to try it on my parents induction stove next time I go hunting. Very happy with my new Tanker! I have an old American but the only burner it fit on was unstable with heat regulation. I bought the induction ready Denali Tanker, and a Changebert portable industrial induction burner ( from restaurant supply) it's rated to take 110#. work perfectly together!
