Landed this King Mackerel and the rod performed perfectly. I actually can’t believe it didn’t snap in half as you can see it was bent in a half moon. I’ve been using 2 of these travels rods for several years and would highly recommend them.

I have had this rod for a couple of weeks now. I like the action of the rod as it is not a super fast action rod and that makes it a little more forgiving on me as I am not the most experienced fly caster. It handled carp quite well and this last weekend it was very windy and I was still able to get good cast with better accuracy than I have before. I can't wait to take it on a trip to Panama in January and see how it does.

I've used these rods for the past 5 years and beat the hell out of them . In the summer I'm on the water at least once a week. I catch snook ,redfish, flounder, drum etc . My favorite by far 7'4" one piece.

Got these as a gift and took them to the boat for our voyage from Fort Lauderdale to Annapolis. It got a little bumpy out there a couple of times and these cups held firm. I also like how it’s dual purpose: both coffee and drinks. I’m planning on ordering another set in a different color for the boat. It would be nice if the lids were different colors so it would be easier to know what cup was yours. But that’s a problem with every cup.

Just got my elite carbon 3000 with 7’2 M combo today. Am very impressed. I own a Saragossa, Stradic and spinfisher iv and I can say this combo is definitely worth the money. The cast ability of this rod an excellent. The reel feels great. 💯 recommend this combo

Well i was worried about the rod being to light (7'2 Medium 3000) for when I come to fish inshore. Caught multiple bass today and smashed them. Then hooked into this monster snapper.
