I was skeptical on this product when I first saw it. It always takes me a lot of time to peel and devein shrimp so when my kids asked me what I wanted for Christmas I showed them this tool. It took a few times to get the hang of using it but once I did, I can clean a 1Lb of shrimp in about 10 to 15 minutes. After about a year of using it the blade still works fine.

Hands down best shucker ive used.. its very sturdy. The slight curve gives me more leverage with much less effort. The sharper edges allow for both easier penetration into the hinge and for separating the shell halves thereafter. I would highly recommend always using a protective cloth or glove. I have several shuckers, but now this is the only one I really use.
