So now I have bought three of these setup's, one for the friend in picture with 8#2oz North Florida Bass. His first fish on Todfish combo. 12# mono, great setup. These are great combos for both fresh and saltwater. I lined one of my with braid and one with momo. Heading out Monday am to the flats by St. Marks lighthouse Monday for redfish, trout and??. Razor sharp. Great quality. I really like the fact that it's a lock blade as well, so there's no need to worry about any injuries due to accidental closers. I've only used it after one fishing trip, in fact, it's the first time I've ever used a flay knife. The knife cut through the fish like butter, however, my lack of experience or skill with a flay knife did cost me about a quarter of my catch before I finally got the hang of it. Oh well, live and learn.
