When I pulled it out from the bag, it had a broken hinge. I emailed the company and they replaced it without any hassles. Took dis rod out in Tampa Bay and it performed beautifully. At one point dis rod bent more than 90 degrees and held up great. Handle is comfortable, casting is smooth and I never got tired of fishing wit dis rod.., I recommend for any level fisherman.

Fished the Toadfish 9ft 8wt for a couple years. Bought it as a back rod and was very surprised, good action and good quality. However the rod does lack some power for punching into the wind with #1 size redfish bugs so it will not be replacing my other more expensive 8wt as my go to rod. I use SA Grand Slam 8wt for both rods. Also, I love that they give you a second tip section but I really dislike that they will not sell you a replacement if you need it.

We then docked the boat went into the restaurant and took our dry box with us as it had all of our important items. It didn't get in the way of anything as it's stuck on the side of the chair. The flipper on the lid of my Toad Fish 20 oz tumbler was lost. I shelved my tumbler, but missed using it so much that I contacted the company to see if there was a replacement lid available. Within 36 hours I received a replacement lid with a sturdy washable flipper and have resumed using my favorite water or hot beverage cup! The compliments at oyster gigs are frequent and more importantly I have full use of the best quality tumbler again.

Just one of those odd spots that needed something to hold a drink while I drove.
