SUPER sharp and well balanced! The Master feels solid in my hand, very sharp, I use it for all my vegetable chopping, crushing garlic, slicing cheese, even slicing chicken. I love this knife a lot. The Chef knife I use to trim all meat types, and slice up cooked beef, anything you would use a chef knife for. All the Sikkina knives I have are awesome, and it does not hurt that they look very good in the kit...

While Grilling some venison backstrap last weekend I used my Sikkina cleaver to cut the meat. It was effortless with the sharpness and shape of the blade. I was able to push right through with just the weight of the blade and a slight rocking motion. Would definitely buy again.

I used this knife to cut up a bone-in Prime rib roast and four racks of smoked bbq ribs. It worked flawlessly. Feels great in the hand, fantastic balance and extremely sharp. I've used other brands that cost more and isn't near the quality of a Sikkina knife. I will be purchasing other knives from Sikkina in the near future.

Knife arrived (in this day and age that is a good thing). Knife is well made and pretty sharp. 2 minutes on the whetstone and it is dangerously sharp. Has an interesting heft and is great for slicing. Still shiney and new with a rinse under hot water after every use and occasional light oil. Happiness filled

This knife is absolutely great. Slices delicate veg e.g. onion & tomato so thinly but can also cut into tough skins like butternut squash skins. I love using it for bbq's, does great with meat. I found it incredibly useful and a great deal.
