I’m really surprised at the very high quality of this instrument and the setup at this price point. It has a beautiful deep bass resonance that sounds better than the bass resonance on my Zagger. Otherwise the tone is pure and fairly rich, maybe not quite as rich and complex as the tone on my much more expensive guitar but dog gone close. Don't underestimate this violin. This is my first real violin. I did purchase a junkie violin at a flea market years before but never played it. I'm still considered a beginner.
