Spicy with good rye notes as well as the rum sweetness. The rum isn’t as pronounced as expected, but is still there and a complimentary counterpart to the rye. Raising the abv to 46% would make this tasty dram even better!

Simply an outstanding cask strength sherried single malt. I won’t pretend to be an expert and spout out a lot of tasting notes, but I will say if you’re a fan of sherry aged malts like Macallan, Glendronach, etc., you will love Arran. Difficult to find, but well worth the effort. I couldn’t find it anywhere in my city, but luckily found it online at Blackwells.

Amazing honey, vanilla, butterscotch, palate and nose. Not really complex, but a delightful blend of flavors. Finish is a bit weak, but to be expected in a double wheat. Would definitely buy again... its competition is Woodford Double Oaked... in IMHO.

Been waiting to try this for some time now since I heard Timothy Olyphant mention it on the Conan O’Brien needs a Friend Podcast. Found out Blackwell had it and more importantly, would mail it to my state and it does not disappoint! It’s like three or four different whiskey flavors in one that kinda swirls around on your taste buds and makes the drinking experience actually fun! Highly recommend!

Fast delivery! I like this bold bourbon. It gets better with time as it airs out and the alcohol becomes less dominant. Sweet with noticeable oak-y aroma. Adding some water opens it up and makes it more drinkable as well as makes you appreciate the complexity of it away from the high proof characteristics.

A friend recommended this bourbon to us. It is hands-down the best bourbon I have ever tried under $100. We usually drink buffalo trace and makers Mark 46 as you can see from the picture but for a few more dollars this is absolutely a better quality bourbon
