Really enjoyed the higher proof. A true sipper ment for a hardy Maduro and a soft leather chair. Didn't have the off putting aftertaste of the 118 proof version. Loved it.

Truly a rare find. My local spirit(s) store(s) did not have this in stock (still does not). I'm ecstatic that I could simply find it! As far as the taste.....exquisite. Strong, bold start with a smooth, crisp finish. Nice oaky after-taste is a great addition to this multi-faceted scotch. Big fan of the BR films, so the packaging & nostalgia associated with the film(s) is an added bonus. Makes a great addition to the cabinet, definitely will sip this one slowly. Great find!

My Wife and I just returned from Kentucky, and while there we visited the Buffalo Trace distillery. We had the opportunity to see the Blanton's select being bottled and we love the flavor. It has the nose of sweet cherries and the taste of apples, vanilla and oak with a little spice. Its great neat or over a rock. a very tasty Kentucky single barrel bourbon.

The store pick is great, just as expected. Order and delivery went smooth beside me missing FedEx. An adult has to sign for the package, so make sure you are available, if not have FedEx hold it at a location where you can pick up.

This Koloa 12 Barrel Kaua’i Reserve was aged 4 years in America Oak barrels, and was distilled from sugarcane grown on the island of Kaua’i. It has a very light nose and a sweet flavor profile with slight oakiness. The higher ABV of 45% is not too aggressive for this sweet elixir, amplifying flavors instead of attacking the palate.

Luzhou Laojiao Bainian Baijiu is truly a great drink. We got introduced to it on one of our China visits. We have been ordering it regularly, a box of 6 at a time, from BLACKWELL'S for the past two years. We are totally satisfied with BLACKWELL'S service. It is easy to place the order on line.
