Luzhou Laojiao Bainian Baijiu is truly a great drink. We got introduced to it on one of our China visits. We have been ordering it regularly, a box of 6 at a time, from BLACKWELL'S for the past two years. We are totally satisfied with BLACKWELL'S service. It is easy to place the order on line. The delivery is very prompt. The product arrives usually within a week.

Great processing and shipping! The packaging the bottles came in are the best shipping boxes I’ve gotten bottles in. Only thing that is a negative is the wax seals on both bottles were torn a little but that’s because of how the distillery waxes the seals.

The ordering process was very simple the delivery was not 😡. FedEx said they made an attempt but I was home and the driver just drove by 🤨. So I live in AZ and it was 107 out and I couldn't get another delivery the same day. FedEx not a good option for delivery.

I first tasted this Cognac in France. Though I brought a bottle back, it was soon gone. I was pleased to find it at Blackwells and have reordered three times. My picture is of my concoction of cognac with a splash of Grand Marnier and Aperol. With candied lemon peels patiently waiting.

I don’t often drop $200 on a bottle. This is a $250 retail bottle I have had my eye on ever since I had the regular Seagrass. I never could bring myself to spend $250, but I saw it on sale for $200 and pulled the trigger. If you like Seagrass, you will love the 16 year. One of my favorite whiskeys ever.

We started with smoked salmon, kalamata olives, a nicely aged cheddar cheese, shrimp wrapped in bacon and some andouille sausage; followed by the main course of filet mignon, roasted potatoes, mushrooms and strawberry salad. I've tried quite a lot of the Heaven's Door range, so was very excited to try this Barrel Strength Blackwells exclusive. Even at 60% it's very smooth with tons of flavour and no burn at all, which is surprising as it has a high rye content. I later tasted it blind against the Heaven's Door 10 year old & Heaven's door redbreast and the Barrel Strengh came out on top. Really good value as Heaven's door products usually cost a premium, so for $60 is well worth it.

I couldn’t place the fragrance of the Italicus at first! It’s incredibly floral and citrusy! It smells a bit like spite. It has a lovely delicate flavor and a smooth soft mouth feel! Very versatile. Great as a sipper on ice, amazing Negroni or coupled with fevertree grapefruit soda! Beautiful bottle and easy to drink. My bottles almost gone! Time to reorder!

Warm and unusual flavor. Maybe there are notes of pineapple, but all I detect is a darker (maybe a little of a rum overtone) more fruity flavor, no alcohol hit and a very smooth finish. Mentally, I see this as a true sipping whiskey.
