I'm on my 86 hours of fasting and feel ok so far. No cramps or headaches. I have enough energy to sustain me at work. I must drink the mix right away after mixing cause I found out that if I let it sit for a while the Source mix has a not-so-pleasant taste. That's the only reason I give it a four-star review. I have 82 more hours to complete my fast. Let's see how much Source mineral mix helps with my goal.

I can't say that I know what passion fruit tastes like but this doesn't taste like any fruit I know. The flavor is bland and inoffensive. I have been drinking Source for about 2 weeks now. The glycine gives a gentle sweetness that counters the other minerals. Definitely better than stevia or other sweeteners. I like the balance of minerals. At 450mg the sodium is well balanced compared to the previous electrolyte drink I tried at 1000mg. No more burning on the way in or out! (Yup!) My 'output' is far more consistent/healthy as well. (yes that one!) I have not used it long enough to determine if my lady hormones are regulating yet....

I chose Source to try because I deplete in Potassium quickly. Source had the highest amount and better quality minerals than others like LMNT that I have been subscribing. Less salt gives me less water retention. The taste of Source I am NOT a fan. I've been sprinkling a little of LMNT into it for just a touch of flavor for my taste.

It wasn't what I expected in an electrolyte. The taste was mildly sweet water. I love the fact there is no BS in it. My previous electrolyte was trace minerals zero lyte product. It's clean but not totally clean like this product. It didn't have any GI stress which is a positive as well. I'm willing to give this product a try and see how it is a stressful event. We shall see how we perform ;)

I knew this product would have a salty taste however I was not expecting it to have that 'back of throat raw, slimy fish taste'. I can live with salt but raw, slimy fish is just too much. With ice and cold water, it's a pretty understated flavor, just slightly sweet and I would say doesn't seem salty like some other electrolyte powders I've tried. Overall I think it's a decent product. I like that I feel hydrated after drinking it but for the most part I do see much of a benefit over adding Celtic Salt to my water. The flavors are minimal and the salt doesn't dissolve 100%. I don't think the price point truly provides enough value over my traditional Celtic Salt water. I am really liking this, but I received a 2nd bag and this batch doesn’t seem to dissolve very well. There is always some grainy sludge at the bottom. It has still helped with keeping headaches at bay due to dehydration. Maybe just an off batch. Would still recommend trying it.

The problem with me is that I love the taste of plain water. So I don't LOVE any electrolytes drink. But I must say I prefer that this doesn't taste sweet or artificial sweet. I hate the taste of stevia nor monkfruit. So, Source gets a thumbs up in that dept. However it doesn't have a flavor that I am am in love with. I am still trying to find that right balance between amount of water and Source powder.
