I loved the newsie cap. It gives me a very "Peaky Blinders" look. :-) My head dimension was right in between two sizes according to the charts, so I picked the large option. Well, needless to say, that it fits a bit bigger on my head. I reckon that was my fault. Regarding the design, I was expecting to be fatter, like ball shape, but it is more squashed. I have the Hannah's Vintage Cap Patchwork Tweed for cooler temps. It works great!!! And thusly, I ordered Vintage Cap Patchwork Grey/Blue Linen. And I am delighted. For me, these caps work great. I ordered a medium in the Tweed, but a small in the Linen. Both good choices as my hair is cut differently in the summer. I get great compliments on both, even offers to take the caps off my head. I really like the fact that these are unique in my area of Central USA. Not too many of them around...

The wool is very fine. The tweed is high quality. The interior headband is floppy, not firm enough, requires two hands (rather than one hand) to put on the hat to keep from messing my hair.
