I decided to use project Repat to create a memorial quilt out of my deceased husband’s T-shirts. My husband was a tour Bus Driver and drove across the country and into Canada driving bands. 80% of the shirts sent were from the bands, and could not replaceable! My quilt is nicer than I could have imagined. The stitching is absolutely perfect. The shirts lie flat & are arranged beautifully. Certainly much nicer than I could have done if I had taken the time to try to decide placement. I'm really happy that I didn't attempt it. My father recently was moved into a senior care facility for dementia. Recently I got a couple quilts made from Repat using old shirts of mine so I decided to repurpose the leftover sides and have a blanket made for dad with pictures of his kids.
