This is my second quilt done by Project Repat. I bought a queen first, then decided on a twin to finish up my remaining shirts. The twin just about covers the top of a queen bed. ( I did the 14 inch squares). I absolutely LOVE both. They wash up nicely and the backing is very soft. I put off doing this till I found the Project Repat!! The process was very easy & not as hard as I thought it would be. Their video & website made it easy & it really wasn't that expensive! I had SO many t shirts I had in drawers & so I opted for the dbl sided blanket. One side is all music related & the other side is my fun I've had w/ cars & the events I attended. I had so many Outer Banks tee shirts from all of the family vacations there over the past 25 years. A lot of them were older, stained, had small little holes, or simply just didn’t fit me anymore. I couldn’t just toss them out so I decided to have them be made into a blanket. Now I have more closet space to get new ones and now I can cherish these older shirts with my new blanket. I've been saving all jerseys and special shirts since our kids were little. Our oldest is the first to reap the benefit and surprise of this special blanket. We could not be more pleased! She thinks it's so special, and everyone who has seen it as commented on how cool it is. There are a couple places where the stitching is a little messed up or the strings are coming out, but it's extremely minor, and overall, we think it is very well-made, nice, and worth the money.
