Kiryn’s brother, Rajay, lost his four year battle with bone cancer when he was 19 years old. He finished Chantilly High here in Northern Virginia in 2020 and was a freshman at George Mason University when he passed. He loved Billie Eilish and went to several of her concerts so owned a bunch of her shirts along with CHS and GMU. Sarah and I wanted to make a quilt for Kiryn to hold onto those memories of Rajay! I've been ordering a t-shirt quilt every year since 2019 (and where I work has probably been ordering from Project Repat even before that!) The quilts are always well made, especially for the price. They also provide great instructions on how to prepare the shirts and how to send everything to them. We auction the quilt off each year as a fundraiser, and everyone loves how soft the felt backing is. I would highly recommend ordering your t-shirt quilt though them!

Love this blanket! It's perfect for keeping your legs/lap warm. I love that this blanket specifically includes races that I've run so it holds a very personal meaning to me. It seems like every race gives out a shirt and I just don't want that many shirts. Some shirts weren't my style but had a great logo.
