My son was so excited to receive his new t-shirt quilt!! I have used Project Repat in the past, and knew it would be a perfect remembrance for my little cousin after both her parents passed. The photo I sent doesn't do the custom work justice, but that's on me. I'm taking it to her today. I had a lot of Tshirts that were my brothers. He collected many shirts from people across the country. We used to say he would talk the shirt off your back! Brian had Down Syndrome and sadly passed away in January of 2025. I had three lap size quilts made from these Tshirts for my 3 siblings. This is my second quilt done by Project Repat. I bought a queen first, then decided on a twin to finish up my remaining shirts. The twin just about covers the top of a queen bed. ( I did the 14 inch squares). I absolutely LOVE both. They wash up nicely and the backing is very soft. I had heard about Project Repat years ago and have been saving shirts from running, biking, and swimming events to eventually make into this quilt.
