It's a good deal for the low price. The bottom of the shoes is quite thin, so no wintertime use, and for my leg size the top velcro tape is too long for a tight attachment. But even so I'm quite happy with them; these are for rough use, not catwalk modelling.

Seems like one of if not the best options for a beginner looking to learn the shamisen, although I have nothing to compare with directly. There seems to be a slight metallic ring/whine when playing higher notes (13+ position) on the third string, but that might be down to my striking technique, or perhaps the nakagosaki just happens to resonate in those frequencies?

I’m a size 12 US. I like the tabi so far, but the finish is not exactly as I expected, not too much care on the details. The outsole glue is visible in parts of the tabi. Also the clasps come loose very easily, I’m thinking of sewing velcro and eliminating those clasps for a better snug fit. I haven’t worn them yet though because they come loose. Hope that fixes the issue

The tabi were the correct foot size (a little tight) but I could not do up the hooks at the ankle - they were simply way too small. The problem here is probably because I am quite a large Englishwoman! The second problem was that there is a 'no returns' policy. Now I am left with a pair of tabi that cost me nearly £50, and I can't wear them. I'm hoping that a smaller lady from my taiko community will be able to use them. It's a shame because they are good quality!

I already contacted customer support about the incorrect sizing and that fact that I bought 3 koikuchi shirts in the same size and they all fit totally different.. when I asked for a possible discount code to purchase 3 new shirts in a larger size, rather than a refund, I was denied either option. I went ahead and ordered 3 of the same shirts in a larger size against my better judgement, but I was not impressed with the customer support that was offered to me by this company

Not exactly what I’m looking for … I wish they have informed me the 6 holes flute is a no -traditional (not commonly) used kind. 7 holes is the typical used shinobue- the sound is aweful and can’t play 1234567 (can’t play song on this flute) and the customer service doesn’t seem to Care very much - no refund and no exchange after purchase?
