Great line for the conditions where 15 feet is too little sink, and 30 plus is not necessary. The 250 gr. weight is very easy to cast and not as training as the 30-plus sinking lines.

This is great fly line. I do a lot of canal fishing with flies and the canals are about 6-10 feet deep (it varies) so I need to get down to where the fish are. The sinking tip is just the thing. And it casts very easily; it is a pleasure to throw.

Patagonia R1's rock, I live in them under rain gear or outer layers all winter. I have 4. Great layer of warmth you can regulate with the zipper. Very comfortable. I am a big guy 6'1" 275 commercial fisherman and a XXL fit nicely. This my first Fitz Roy version, I like the added layer in the sleeves and shoulders as I wear PVC bibs and waders a lot.
