This item has been discontinued by Fishpond for a while now and I preferred the older model to the new. I saw that F&F had a pic on their website of the the older model, so I called. They searched their stock, located the last one, called me back and sent it to me to Georgia in two days. You just don’t find professional customer service like this anymore!!!! I purchased the Crispi Shimek GTX Insulated Hunting Boots for bow hunting whitetail at home here in MI and I’ll also be using them on a bow hunt in the great state of Iowa. Great boot for hang and hunt style, very comfortable for walking long distances and ascending / descending trees. With a medium weight merino wool sock this boots are perfect for most temp ranges during bow hunting season here in the Mid-West.

Had one day to break these in before going out for a 2 week wildland fire roll...performed great. Comfortable out of the box and appear very durable and well made. Very comfortable out of the box. I started wearing them for short walks or just working around the yard. They are tough boots and have super support. I use inserts in my everyday shoes but don't feel I need them as the arch support is pretty solid. Hunting in MT in September. Daily hikes of 8 to 10 miles will test them.

Probably some of best customer service I’ve ever experienced! Ordered the boots online and they showed up the next night! The boots themselves are great so far been on a few hikes so far and once you get them tight and fitted they don’t smash your toes on downhill, and grip good on the uphill! No complaints from me!

So far I love these boots. Much faster than laces and I have had no issues with the boa system. Anything that gets me on the water sooner, keeps me happy! I wish the rubber soles had more traction but I will trade them out for something with cleats!

Fin and Fire shipped same day and I received in two business days. Two thumbs up for that service! The boots are very light and very comfortable. They are also very supportive and easy to walk in. I wore them two days straight for long days in the river and I am very impressed so far. I used the felt soles and they are great. I have not tried the Klingon yet but they appear to be solid. Two days do not make a long term review but so far so good.

The boot is legit! true to size, very comfortable definitely a four on stiffness but it's a long lasting boot so that should be expected on breaking in. I did a successful sheep hunt yesterday wearing these pants.the built in knee pads were a nice ,comfortable surprize,as I did not know these pants came with that feature. Others I was with said the camo pattern blended in very well in the open areas of our hunt.if these pants last as long as other sitka brand products I have then I give it a 10 out of 10.

These boots are incredible. Strong and lightweight. I love them. Also got great customer service from Fin and Fire. Put 6 miles on them this morning and they feel great. I prefer lightweight boots but wanted a little more support for elk hunting. These fit that category.

I'm a newbie to fly fishing. I got these boots because my boyfriend, who fly fishes, suggested Simms boots. I tried this model and another. Chose this one over the other, for the ankle support. We went fly fishing for the first time last weekend. These are great boots for hiking in, wading and extremely comfortable for standing/wading for a few hours. Highly recommend them.
