I have always had issues finding this product and now i don't have to look any further. The Fonio Grain is so super nice and the texture is better than Quinoa. I have made it for both savory as a base for a stew and also as a poritage for beakfast and both times it didn't disappoint. I love love love this Irish SeaMoss. No strong odor- just smells of the sea. Rinse? Maybe to wash away a bit of salt from the ocean, but I have seen no sand. I might see a bit of grass while rinsing it. No fishy taste. Tasteless! I can add to anything or add hot water and whatever I like and drink as tea twice a day. I love it! I bought the 1lb bag and it looks as if I did not use any of it and I made a large batch (enough for 2 jars.)
