Happy hens! The 10 girls started molting and egg production dropped from 8 eggs a day to 2, sometimes 3 a day.
After about 4 days of GrubTerra egg production increased to 5 eggs a day. Not bad during molting and humid, hot summer!!

My grandparents got chickens a couple months prior to us. We both feed our chickens crumbles, wheat, corn & table scraps. My chickens love the BSFL. They get very disappointed when I run out. They flock to this treat more enthusiastically than grubs. It seems to agree with their digestive system, good poops, lots of energy. Great eggs all throughout winter. I have gotten eggs consistently every day since they started laying eggs. The birds roam the property all day. we learned quickly that the best way to coax them back into their Run/coop before twilight was to let them see us tossing some larvae into the run. Sometimes, ya just want them home early to catch that movie, etc.
This stuff works great for that purpose and is an excellent tool for maintaining contact with the birds on a daily basis to check their health.

Comes in a timely manner comes with more larvae. Then you would expect could feed multiple animals for over a week due to the Share amount in a cup. I fed them to my bearded dragon. she enjoyed them and did not get impacted from the larvae. The larvae are soft with no hard shell, and no hard mandibles that could potentially injure your pets intestinal line if swallowed alive. A fanstastic product and meal replacement for crickets

Our ladies LOVE GrubTerra black fly larvae! They hear that bag shake and they come running from all over our property! Their egg shells are harder, the yolks are a deeper orange color and obviously taste DELICIOUS! We’ve even used them as fishing bait for panfish!
