Great product but poor performance by Grub Terra in getting product to customer. 2-3 week delay plus delivery time after payment on two orders so far. Unable to keep product on hand for the Chickens so have had to purchase extra elsewhere at greater expense during wait.

Thus is my first time using soldierfly larvae. I had always treated my chickens with meal worms before. My chickens absolutely love grubterra soldierfly larvae so much better. The egg shells are nice and thick due to the higher amount of calcium. When my chickens see me carry in grubterra bag they try jumping up to snatch it out of my hands. Enough said!

Our 21 chickens absolutely love your Black Fly Larva. We feed them the larva every evening for a bed time snack. When they see us, they all come running, sit on our laps, and eat out or our hands. It's great not having to add oyster shells to their diet; they love the grubs so much more and they are so much better for them. Thank you Grub Terra for providing such a wonderful, nutritious treat. My small flock just LOVES these black soldier fly larvea! They liked meal worms, but they absolutely LOVE these! They get a couple handfuls each morning. As soon as they hear the sliding glass door open on the deck, they come running! Their feathers are very shiny and healthy looking! They are a special treat!

We feed this to our chickens instead of oyster shell. I wanted to try it because it seems odd to feed chickens oyster shell and coral when they never eat that in the wild anyway. It’s been a month now of their best laying yet. Even with oyster shell and layer feed, they had problems with the shells. After feeding these grubs, no issues. Lots of eggs. Hard shells. Happy chickens.

The chickens like black soldier fly larvae better than the freeze dried meal worms. I also feel better knowing this product provides more nutrition than the freeze dried meal worms. That's a win-win. I have a monthly subscription for one bag and I have 9 chickens. I put a 1/4-1/2 cup scoop of the black soldier fly larvae in with their daily serving of chicken scratch.

I bought these because superworms were getting expensive and harder to find. I heard they were more nutritious than superworms so I bought them. And I have absolutely no regrets or concerns. I fed them to my leopard gecko, breaded dragons, wild toad, and an oscar. I bought mind more than a month ago and I still have a lot, which just shows how full the 2 containers I got were.
