I have to admit that I was skeptical...but WOW does this help!! We use the deep litter method in our coop, and while it didn't smell horrible, it definitely smelled like animals. Now it just smells fresh. Even the boys noticed the change!

My bearded dragon LOVES the BSF. He also likes the larvae but not as much as he likes best the flies when the pupate and turn to flies. It's also enrichment for him as he gets to chase them around his enclosure instead of them just moving around his bowl.

This is my second order with Grub Terra.
Their Larvae are plump and lively. They had a shipping delay of a few days this time, but I was notified well in advance of expected ship date that this would be the case. Their prices and shipping prices outvthe competetion to shame.
My only critic is the substrate they use. This is for more difficult to remove than the substrate used by all the competetion. Other than that, an A+ experience!

The hens really gobbled them up. I've been looking for a treat to give them from time to time and I think they really liked them! I haven't been feeding them long enough to notice a change in their eggs, but if they snatch them up like hungry hippos then they clearly are enjoying them. Extra protein and calcium is always a plus when it comes to layer hen snacks.

One of my chickens was dealing with an impacted crop, but I finally got the impaction cleared. She had lost weight and then started molting. She was a sad looking little girl.
