It took a little longer to be delivered than expected, which wasn’t communicated. It’s a solid, decent mantel and was easy to put up. It looks great above the dining room fire. I removed a star as the pre-drilled holes to mount it were put on the best looking side of the wood.

Delighted overall. One significant frustration was that the difficulty in attaching the 3 hooks that were supplied loose. The quality of the black screws is very poor and one sheared off flush with the wood requiring me to relocate the hook which is now slight out of line. I recommend you make the holes in the wood for these screws a little deeper to make it easier to screw them in.
