12 days in and having a lot of fun learning about the hardware, while brushing up my coding. The teaching material is generally good, but has a few inconsistencies with current reality (libraries not being installed the way the video says they are, for example), and is presented in a slightly strange order, with the video segment showing how to wire up the hardware after the part on the coding to run on it.

I grabbed the Cogsworth kit while it was on sale and decided to add the expansion. It's been a great little project for me and my son to go through and I'm really happy with it overall. I would give it a 5 star review, but I had issues getting the instructions initially and I've found the instructions to be somewhat lackluster and a little unclear at times. We've been able to figure it out so far though - so I would highly recommend this kit for learning to work with arduino.

The kit itself is great. It doesn’t however come in the nice plastic box it shows in some of the pictures. It is in a thin cardboard box like in some of the other pictures. This is great for younglings and elders alike to get started learning.

My only note is that the AI generated videos are a bit off-putting. I know it is expensive to have actual animations, but it might be worth it. I would also love just a normal video of someone putting the circuits together in real life, with notes like how the buttons take a bit of effort to make sure the connections are right.

This is a gift for my 11 year old grandson. The materials inside the box look very good from a quality standpoint. The aesthetics of the packaging leaves something to be desired as the box is flimsy and not protective of the contents, and the contents are just thrown into the box with nothing tied down to avoid damage during transport. We won't know if anything is damaged until he tries to put it together on Christmas day

I have 2 of these kits, purchased on different orders. Both were packaged in cardboard boxes, not the nice plastic case pictured in the request for comments. Both cardboard boxes had come open during transit (additional fill material would have prevented this.)

I was very excited to start a new hobby. inventr.io provided very quick shipping. I ordered off the facebook ad and was at a loss since I didn't get the "adventure" in the box. By going to the web site to complain, I found it and much more. I just wish there was a paper or something on the box that indicated where to find the instructions.

I have been able to get all the other sensors and modules, included in the kit, to work perfectly first time. However, I have been unable to get the Voice Recognition Module, Ref. QB052, to respond to any voice commands. The sketch that tests it verifies and uploads correctly. The hardware is wired correctly, but no response from any voice commands, including "Hi Lumi".

The box is a treat, even before opening. The bits and pieces are lovely, but I can't do anything with them because I didn't see in the ads about needing a computer. My only electronic gadget is my phone. When I get a computer, I will probably be gushing over discoveries.

I absolutly love the kit. The only sugestion i have would be to include in the instructions what we are doing, why, how it works. The one negative thing i have is with the bread board. The positive and negative strips on the sides do not lineup with the rows which makes things dificult.

It all came as expected. I wish the Cogsworth City was more story-based. It doesn't even have to be a filmed or acted production. The steam-punk styling lends itself well to a graphic novel or even a 10-panel comic strip per lesson. Just something to help the flow and immersion of the lessons.
