I'm still working through the project but because I like it so much I've already bought another kit and a kit for my partner to do with me. It's gotten me interested in the whole idea of coding and building things that I want to build my own research tools and set up the code for them, of course when I'm more adept. I didn't realize how much I would appreciate this side of electronics/computer technologies. It just sucks my ADHD brain right into it without a problem.

I have bought a number of items from inventr.io and this was the first rough start. I was unfortunate enough to get one of the run of kits which the supplier forgot to include the Hero XL in. This being said SUPER quick response from customer service and a board was in the mail and made it to me in no time! I look forward to digging into it and starting the projects.

The kits are terrific as is the website, lessons, resources and friendly support. I haven a background in electromechanical design. I'm 80 years old and having a great time with inventr.io. On opening the box, I was pleased to see it all securely packed, and that the resistors are labeled with the value on the retaining tapes... however, upon usage, I have found the color bars on the resistors to be very indistinct, and with the extra bar on these resistors, some of them look exactly the same as others with a different value, because they have the same color bars but in opposite order (so if you flip the resistor around, it looks like the wrong value) and so I've had to use my mult...

Much more informative than Cogsworth City in my view. More fun as well. Maybe the presentation or the continuity from lesson to lesson.. Or the specific items in the kit., Not 100% certain. But I was motivated to get about 1/2 of way through on one actual day. Perhaps my exposure to Cogsworth also helped at least with the first few sketches.. May also be partly due to growing up with the Apollo missions as an integral part of my childhood.,

The thing I like most about these Adventure Kits is the fact that you can use the parts individually or collectively and build the adventure kit as you follow the story, or if you have a different plan you can use them as a sort of MacGyver kit to experiment with Arduino and C programming
