Beautiful mango top with a warm tone. Absolutely loving the steel strings! On arrival the action was a little higher than I prefer, but after a quick truss rod tweak it’s now sitting comfortably at 1.75mm with good intonation. As always, a huge thanks to Chris and the team for the fast delivery!

Thank you Christopher for your personalised touch, and the helpful information sheet that you enclosed. I was able to follow the instructions for the Luthiers Knot. Also the threading of the strings was super helpful as doing it properly should stop the winders from sliping. The Worth Brown Strings Low G' seem to suit my Tanglewood Tenor Ukulele as they provide a less harsh sound than the Fat Clear Worth Strings. The Brown's seem to make the Tenor sound a little more like the Guitar sounds. They also have a softer feel on the fret board and I seem to be able to have the chords ring nice and true. Hope this is helpful.

The strings are probably okay but useless for my purpose. They are advertised as DGBE Tenor Strings which led me to presume that they had low D. Unfortunately for me, they have high D. I expected that if that were the case they would advertise them as dGBE. There is no mention on the packet that they are high D.
The service and turnaround time from Ukulele Trading Co themselves is beyond excellent.

No problems with price or delivery...You have to double loop on the A string as it slips on the Bridge..Good to know. this one did on the C string as well..It will depend on your bridge and tuning heads setup..

I've used the wound low G and warm wound low G and believe them to be on par with the Fremont Soloist low G. I would describe them as gold smooth wound and not copper. They are not only great strings with the low wound G lasting so long you actually are getting 2 full sets for the price of 1.

Highly, highly recommend Worth strings....used to play Aquila strings (with metal wound D and G). Windings used to break and also wore a low spot on the fret.
