The strings are probably okay but useless for my purpose. They are advertised as DGBE Tenor Strings which led me to presume that they had low D. Unfortunately for me, they have high D. I expected that if that were the case they would advertise them as dGBE. There is no mention on the packet that they are high D.
The service and turnaround time from Ukulele Trading Co themselves is beyond excellent.

The Chana is a finely crafted instrument.
It has been skilfully and beautifully put together. The frets are evenly balanced and I detect no sharp edges on either flanks along the fretboard.
The playability is awesome. I believe Chris has spun his magic on it prior to shipment. Action is nicely adjusted on the low side.
Tone is good. Notes come out clean and with some sustain.

The red aquila strings allow greater dynamics on the ukulele. I love the feel and the sound plus they look cool on a uke rather than the usual white strings. They are easy to fit and they don't continue to stretch so tuning is every time is not necessary once they have settled in
