This is the first time I have used the Worth Clear strings. I have used the browns before and was very happy with them. I love the clears they have the sound and tone I have been looking for although at first, until they settled in, the low G sounded a bit 'off'. Now it sounds fine and is in balance with the rest of the strings. I am a convert to Worth Clears.

One of my beginner’s ukes developed a crack (heat related). What a great excuse to try out the Flight TUC-35 Black Travel Concert Uke. With its ABS body and neck, it is tough and looks cool. It also sounds great and plays well. I mainly bought it because it is resistant to changes in climate conditions, and is easy to clean and maintain. Another reason was The Ukulele Trading Co had a fantastic deal for Black Friday. As usual, the service and support from CC and his team was excellent.

True they are not as 'bright', but I wanted the mellower sound. After several years with Aquila Nylgut, I made the switch to BF-LG Worth strings the last 4 years. The tonal quality is beyond my expectations specially with amplification. I play in a 5 piece band and have a fair number of gigs every month and with weekly rehearsals, the strings do get through its pace. I would mention that I play using 0.38mm plck and get more mileage than with Aquila.

I replaced the original strings on my 8 string tenor ukulele with Worth Brown strings - made a huge difference... it sounds much better (nice mellow tone) and is softer on my fingers. An added bonus is there are two restrings in each set... bonus, got to love that. Dealing with C C was a pleasure, nothing is too much trouble, thanks mate.

Whilst they took a long time to settle in, the sound is really nice mated with the Tasmanian Blackwood used for the project. The Ukulele in the picture is one I made for a friend Called Mike, this time I used the clear fluorocarbon, and the sound is also bright but with the low G a balanced sound is produced. Reviews of the Ohana SK-39 sounded positive, Ukulele Trading Co price was right, so I’m now a delighted owner. It seems well-made, looks good and has a great voice! Amazing really. I find the tuning heads a little notchy, difficult to make fine adjustments but they can be changed if they annoy me too much. Now the strings have settled it isn’t such a big issue. I’m very happy with this little beauty!

I use these strings on all my ukuleles that I play regularly, and as a teacher that means daily. They are much softer on my fingers and they sound great. The resonator was my first Kala ukulele and I love it . It looks and sounds great . It it very comfortable to play and has good volume . No negatives really . I have just a week ago replaced the original Aquilla strings on my OHANA TK250GCE with Worth BT-LG Browns & now they have settled in I beleive intonation is better & sound is much warmer. I have used Worth clear in the past on my Anuenue Lani 3 & I have just ordered a set of Fat LG Browns for my Anuenue Koa Bird to replace the Blackwater strings. I find Worth Strings softer on the fingers as well. Colin.

This is the second set of Worth Brown Low G Fluorocarbon strings that I have bought. I use the BS-LG 63 set on 2 of my ukuleles, both of which are electro/acoustic. I like the feel of the BS strings, which are Stronger and a bit tighter to the feel than some others. Whilst they may appear a bit more expensive than other strings, you do get 63cm per string for the tenor ukulele, and after you cut them in half, you get 2 sets of strings. I highly recommend them.
