I bought a set of Worth Brown Tenor low 'G' GCEA and a set of high 'g' gCEA strings to restring my two tenor ukuleles - one Low 'G' and one high 'g'. One is a JB Hi Fi Liberty brand and the other is a home made flat pack kit ukulule bought on eBay from China. They were previously strung with a 'hog podge' of nylgut strings, old mono filament and wire wound guitar strings, and even fluoro carbon fishing line - what ever worked. The Worth Browns are really a step up. I love the tone and feel

I just restrung my 1880 Baritone with Worth Brown DGBE. Originally fitted with nylgut DGBE strings I had it restrung with Aquilla Baritone gCEA strings (only using the original 3rd G string as the 4th dropped G) so GCEA. I liked the high tuning and it removed the visual confusion of chord shapes with teaching soprano and tenor players. But back to low tuning. The string was nearly too wide to fit on the bridge of my uke but managed to get there! I'm really enjoying the bass tone it gives but just in the process of getting it to settle... now I wish I swapped all the strings over! It sounds really good while I'm learning flamenco style and playing finger picking songs.... 💕

Finally. Another bari baby. CC swapped the strings for Worth Browns. Bliss. I've tuned this uke to P4 (GCFBb). My other Kala 8-string bari I use for rhythm. This one, with it's assisted volume, can hold its own with the 8-string. Perfectly set up by CC for a perfect tuning 😁. And now I wait for bari number 3 ... I bought this to compare with a 1949 Martin style 3 which the ohana copies. Whilst it doesnt have the old time sound that only a vintage Martin can soubd like the Ohana is very well constructed and plays well. Solid Mahogany and a modern nod to an old classic. Good value uke and i would recommend it to someone starting to get serious but doesn't want to spend a fortune.

This little practice amp is brilliant, I have it plugged into my Flight solid body and it produces heaps of volume for practice. It is so compact it sits on the lip of my music stand without intruding on my music. You could use it in a smallish venue but electric acoustic works best with this. Very handy addition to help when playing in a group, especially when there are other instruments which can drown you out. It is very transportable and easy to use and doesn't cost a fortune. When I am at home I use it in preference to my Spark amp because it is so easy to use. I use it sometimes with a lead or a bluetooth Swiff Audio WS-50 transmitter and receiver. I cannot pick up any delay with the Swiff. I have tried it on a Flight Centurion and it works but I am not sure for how long before ...

Love these strings! I previously tried a wound low G on a concert and i didn't like it. I was keen to try out the worth brown Low G on a tenor (Ohana TK-10). I think it's a vast improvement on the aquilas the uke came with. I'm still getting used to the low G sound but in most cases strumming and picking it sounds fantastic. I regularly play in a coffee shop and when indoors I don't us a PA. My uke has a Fishman pickup in it and this amp produces a very natural sound and the volume is more than enough for the small room. I am really happy with this product.
