The resonator was my first Kala ukulele and I love it . It looks and sounds great . It it very comfortable to play and has good volume . No negatives really . I did change the strings and put a set of Worth’s on but that was only a personal preference. I highly recommend this uke . The service from Ukulele Trading was first class . C.C. Is very helpful . I like a hard case to protect the instrument. This case is very robust and fits the thin body with a bit of padding under it to take the space up. It feels like one could drop it of a building and it will survive unscathed.

I have just a week ago replaced the original Aquilla strings on my OHANA TK250GCE with Worth BT-LG Browns & now they have settled in I beleive intonation is better & sound is much warmer. I have used Worth clear in the past on my Anuenue Lani 3 & I have just ordered a set of Fat LG Browns for my Anuenue Koa Bird to replace the Blackwater strings. I find Worth Strings softer on the fingers as well. Colin.

I am thrilled with the Worth Brown strings! They are very playable, have a beautiful mellow tone and have a soft touch which suits my smaller hands. I also love the unwound D and G strings …..no more buzzing! I can’t get these strings in NZ so am very happy that I’ve found them in Adelaide. A wonderful transformation for my little ‘Mojo’. I’m used to playing FWs on Fender Mustang shortie and these are exactly what I needed to get me onto the uke. This is the second set of Worth Brown Low G Fluorocarbon strings that I have bought. I use the BS-LG 63 set on 2 of my ukuleles, both of which are electro/acoustic. I like the feel of the BS strings, which are Stronger and a bit tighter to the feel than some others. Whilst they may appear a bit more expensive than other strings, you do get 63cm per string for the tenor ukulele, and after you cut them in half, you get 2 sets of strings. I highly recommend them.

This tuner is the best ever! Precise to within 1/100 of a semitone, very easy to read. Great for tuning the uke, but even better when there are 36 strings to deal with, as in the picture. It makes a big difference when everything is perfectly in tune. The ability to re-charge the tuner with a phone charger is a real bonus. Firstly this is a beautiful instrument. It is just so well made and the Maple is so pretty. The sound is good too. So much classier than my other two basses. Much more like my big acoustic bass. Not as loud acoustically as my Aklot Bamboo bass. I have replaced the strings. The Road Toad's were fine sounding but just stretched and streathed and stretched. I tried several brands and types of strings before trying these Worth Brown strings. They are great! They give me the more mellow sound that suits the music I play. They feel great to play. They are smaller in diameter than other fluorocarbon strings and appear to have less tension which makes playing very comfortable. These are low G strings.
