I have five of these beds in a variety of configurations, ordering a sixth. Always get compliments, and they are a pleasure for me. One hint: leave the nylon trim piece over-long for some months before to cut it—the beds expand slightly and you will want the trim to nicely cover all edges.

I love that I'll have them for a long time because they're so sturdy. The Birdies 6-in-1 tall bed was easy to assemble, albeit a little tedious. Thankfully I have two boys who are always eager to be involved in my gardening adventures. They helped with the MANY nuts and bolts. They were also awesome helpers when it came to filling the bed. I got one of the tall 8-in-1 beds because my wood beds were falling apart and I couldn't keep my dog from digging in them. After putting this one together and seeing the height and quality, I decided to slowly upgrade ALL my garden beds to this height. It's perfect and of excellent quality. Took about 30 minutes to put together with my power drill, 20 minutes to take apart again, then another 20 minutes to reassemble in a different format once I changed my mind where I wanted it, hah.

I have now ordered 6 of the Birdies. They are so easy to assemble. My husband and I wanted to watch a show on TV so I thought I will just sit in the floor and put another one together while I watch TV. I knew we could move it outside once put together. Even though it’s so sturdy, it’s still light weight enough for 2 people to move. Well after I got it all assembled, my Border Collie decided it was his new place to sleep. Guess it’s a doggie play pen now…lol. Love my Birdies!

Sturdy, easy to clean, very well made, no sprues or junk or sharp edges from molding. They allow for great drainage without letting everything dry out too fast. And the slots on the side really do work to air prune the roots, it's not a gimmick! (Do yourself a favor and spring for the 1020 trays too if you get these, they're also fantastic.)

We love the Birdies Raised Beds that we purchased. We got 6 of them! We are seniors (65 & 81) so we just took our time with assembly (which was a piece of cake). Now to get them in place and filled. We plan on doing a hugelkultur method with intentions of being ready by planting time in our zone 6b location. Only one problem... now we want more. Love the holding tray for growing plamts for a few reasons. For one, it is made in the USA. Secondly the tray is so sturdy and thick plastic; good quality. I am able to place several pots, also EPIC, and none fall off while moving to the rack. Additionally, I am able to place a good amount of water in the tray without seepage. Amazing product!

I received my metal raised bed planter after I had planted most of my garden for the summer, so I went ahead and filled it up and planted some leftover seedlings I had. They are doing great and I have been converted into a raised bed gardener. We have had so much rain here that everything that I placed directly into the ground either drowned or the growth was stunted. But, everything I planted in raised beds are doing excellent. I will be adding more metal raised bed planter next year.

Love my Birdies!! Gorgeous green colour. Shipping to Canada was a little rough on the one package. The bag of nuts was ripped open & missing a few…. A few quality control issues that were missed - a few panels had no holes punched, my husband made me mention that, few scratches from shipping also. Praying they don’t rust.
