love the garden straw mulch!! i live on the water and it's always windy but the split straw doesn't blow away! holds in moisture very well, especially in the humid heat we've been having here in NJ. i will definitely buy this again once i run out!

I love this mulch! I use it for my container gardening as I live on a balcony and our summers are hot which quickly dries my soil! This has been good at giving me a little extra time between waterings and it’s an attractive mulch that is really easy to store and very lightweight-perfect for apartment gardening.

I have fallen in love with Birdies beds and the plants seem to be enjoy them as well. I started out with 4 smaller beds and recently purchased 4 larger beds, which will be assembled once the deer fence is in place. I was surprised how small and lightweight the box was that this shipped in. They were very easy to put together and I like the color. I added this to a collection of wooden raised beds, pots, and grow bags. The garden is a work in progress but I really like the beds and recommend them. I included some of the Urban Worm castings when preparing the beds too.

My lot, is "fill" with rocks and clay. I tried to sift the fill to get usable soil/space, it's not worth the effort. This is the perfect solution to making an "instant" plantable bed. It was easy to put together. The instructions were easy to follow, all I needed was a #2 Philips. The bed gives ample depth for planting, and using a stool, I am able to sit and comfortably and tend to the plants/soil.
