I am so glad that I purchased these inserts! I am new to starting seeds and I decided to "do it right" from the get-go. I saw the "new method" video just in time to make these 6-cell inserts my first choice. They are sturdy and are a great size. I ordered 2010 trays and these inserts fit perfectly. I fully expect them to last for as long as I do. (I'm 63). LOL.

I did have an issue with one of the beds and Kevin's team took care of me. 10/10 will be ordering more of these beds from Epic Gardening when I move to a bigger property!

I bought the 30" tall 8 in 1 beds. They are well constructed and pretty easy to put together. For a speed hack, once you've threaded the bolts finger tight, you can then tighten them with a drill instead of the hex tool included in the kit. Service from Kevin and the crew was excellent as well.

Garden straw saved my 5 year old strawberry patch. I had some trouble with fungus earlier in the spring. My local cooperative extension suggested using mulch as a chemical-free way to protect the berries. I needed a clean mulch because I didn’t want to introduce the same/new fungus. It’s been a few weeks since adding 2-3 inches of garden straw and the berries look amazing! It is also so helpful during our 100++ temps in Sacramento. Thank you, Kevin!

Love the height of this Birdee bed! Filled it up halfway with wood chips and topped off with a foot of great garden soil. Unfortunately the chips began to decompose and generated so much heat that all my initial plantings just baked. Added a deep worm tower and replanted and things are looking much better. One thing to note, if you’re setting up by yourself, you might get a few scratches in the paint from the pieces rubbing together. It’s barely noticeable, but does happen. I love these durable trays! The best part is the finger hole at the bottom because you can remove all the seedlings that sprouted without disturbing the rest of the tray. As you can see, many of mine didn't germinate, but I can just put them back and try more seeds after I remove the plants. Reusing the old nursery trays was a mess because you had to dump the hole thing upside down to get the plants out, usually messing up the soil plug or breaking a plant. They are actually better than expected. They are sturdy and look good. Reasonable price point. There were a few bent corners when I unpacked them but easily straightened them with a pair of channel lock pliers. I like the versatility of all the possible sizes in one product. I also appreciate the instructions telling the amount of dirt required. I was able to purchase in bilk to save a lot of money with that information. I would recommend them.
