My 6in1 beds on the right were too wide for just 2 muscadines each, so I took the side panels out and narrowed them. The long bed was 2 8in1 beds joined together, so I was left with a set of corners after combining them. I added all the extra side panels to the long bed and got an extra 5 feet and I put the corners together and got a bonus 23"X23"X15" bed from something I thought I was going to discard.

So easy to build - I was able without any help! The only thing I did not like was the plastic protection wrap. Please dont use plastic.... and it is also quite a bit of time to remove it......... I dont expect a garden bed to be shiny and without scratch.....

I bought 3 -10 packs of these cages. They worked so well I bought another 3 -10 packs. The rabbits, squirrels, and chipmunks HATE them because they work so well. I usually have to plant my beans 3 times because they mow them down. I have plenty of plants this year because they are protected. I figure I could easily get 10 years out of them because they are galvanized. They also protected my tomato plants.

The hugelkulture (spelling?) method of filling the bin worked well, although the soil sank about six inches! Loving these 6-cell trays! They are very sturdy and easy to pick up and move around when full. It seems like they will be very easy to pop out for planting too (thanks to the larger holes on the bottom). It would be great if these came in more sizes too- maybe a 4 or 6 cell size with larger cells so plants that grow faster/bigger could stay in them a little longer.
