We used color Sherwood. We painted by hand using paint brush. We followed the tutorial from renovation. We love the fence color outcome and get so many compliments. I will say get the gallon mixed. We did not do that, just used a paint stick to stir before using. The result is that some panels are inconsistent, and as you get to the bottom of the bucket of stain, the panels appear darker. Have your technique down, and or have the same person paint the panels you care about appearance the most.

Paper clip is this color. We put it in the hall six years ago and loved it! So we did the office with it too. Soft, warm gray that makes us glad t be in the room.

We used clear on the railings and Honduran on the steps and deck. Love how easy the application is! I’ll have more pictures I can add as soon as we complete the entire deck and balcony.

I live in Missouri and found this product on an online search for something to use on my 2 year old deck. I watched the YouTube video, did a bit of research and decided to call the company for more info. I talked to Judy, who actually tints the Guard, and she was like talking to my sister! So friendly and helpful. Because my house is yellow, it was really difficult for me to decide on a color. She sent me several samples to help make my decision. I went with Ponderosa and received it with...

I prepared the raw, 10 month aged pressure treated pine deck with your deck cleaner. After drying a day, the wood drank in the C2 Guard very well. I found a liberal wash of the stain could be left to sit 5 - 10 minutes before brushing out to provide the most saturation, then , while still damp, a repeat coat would still get absorbed. And again, the next day, a third coat blended in as the final coat. Wonderful product to apply!

Decided to freshen up the old vanity in the bathroom. No need to tear out a perfectly functioning vanity with no damage. Transformed it from the 2000s yellow/orange stain to a bright, shimmer white. The updated color works great with the new countertop and newly installed hardware. The bathroom isn't heavily used at the moment, but I'm confident that the new paint will hold up great. After some light sanding and primer, it was a quick 2 weekend project to give it several coats.

I really appreciate this color. Its both neutral yet warm and bright. Far superior to any other samples, I knew it would be acceptable yet it exceeded my expectations. The play on light is wonderful. The colors truly are dynamic.

Stain is really great, only problem is to definitely tape and prep, the Carbon does soak into the wood so if you do get drops or spills, prepare for alot of sanding,

I decided to try a water-based penetrating stain to extend the life of a 35-year-old redwood deck. The house is on the east side of the Sierras at 5200ft ASL. It is dry and sunny most of the time and we receive approximately 7 inches of annual precipitation, mostly as snow during the winter. It is high desert. The square footage of the deck is approximately 1000 square feet. Prior to this I have used a polyurethane coating that did not penetrate and advertised a 4-year life on the horizontal...

Outstanding product. Damp on Wet worked great. It dried quickly and about 2/3 hours after I was done it proceeded to rain all afternoon and my redwood deck just had water standing and not soaking in. So impressed and how easy and safe it was to apply. No odors, no nasty chemicals. I applied it all in shorts and flipflops and didn't think twice about it. My 200 sq ft deck is protected. So glad I learned about this product. Worth every penny!!

Product application was straightforward however applying to mahogany wood took more time than cedar to absorb. This meant I needed to wait longer before applying second wet on damp coat. The end results look absolutely beautiful and the C2 Guard Clear did not change the appearance of the wood and dried to a flat finish. Really dig the natural look!

I find it hilarious that you guys consider a review of C2 online is supporting local business! Are used to buy this product religiously from Bruce back in Wilmette Illinois and I’m so glad to have found you online, but I do miss the entire local aspect of his store. It’s the best paint I’ve ever used bar none and I’m really glad to be able to still get it even if I can’t have a conversation with the laconic Bruce. Just to note: I painted my house in 2002 and not one flake of your paint has crack...

This paint is phenomenal! The picture doesn’t do it justice since I’m still in the process of using drywall mud and adding another coat. The product is absolutely a blast to use compared to what I can purchase for the same price at box office stores in my local area.

It started raining before the C2 guard had had a chance to fully cure so I was worried but the rain beaded up and rolled around on top of my bricks anyway! The other photo is a different part of the brick that hadn’t gotten C2’d yet. You can see how the water just gets absorbed into the brick without C2 guard. I decided to apply it to my entire brick wall next! Really hoping to not have to clean it again for a long time!!

I bought three and half gallons and I love it. No harsh chemicals, no dripping, no smell, fast dry and washable. I am 100% satisfied with this paint and I’ll definitely buy from here if I need more.

Color is perfect. Soaks into wood and leaves a great finish. It’s all about the prep work and condition of the boards. My deck was 3 years and never stained or finished so I cleaned and sanded the whole deck so the stain could soak in.

C2 paint is worth every cent. I even had it shipped all the way to California because despite my effort, I knew something was missing. It's hard to pick a color just from the online image or even just a paint chip (though C2 paint chips are also superb) Phillipa was immensely helpful and everything about my consultation was beyond expectations. She tuned into exactly feeling I was wanting to create in my space and she translated it into a color. I couldn't be happier and would recommend the c...

We first used C2 when we painted our interior in 2014. The bathroom needed a redo (color: Coconut) because it had taken a beating. Two bedrooms (color: Tusk) needed just one wall repainted because we'd had an a/c issue repaired. The C2 from 2014 held up so well we only needed to paint the repaired walls, still a perfect color match. No nasty odors, looks fabulous, and holds up amazingly well. In 2014, we had to drive 3 hours to pick up the paint. Well worth the drive. This time, so EASY. Orde...

We built a deck and used some big box store deck finish, and it was terrible. The deck was grey and moldy within a season. So we cleaned it, sanding it, and applied C2 Guard...and it has been amazing! Looks brand new still after a year! This is the only outdoor finish I'll be using from here on out.

Easy to apply and I love the color (sugar maple). I put this on seasoned pressure treated wood after it cured for 6 months. Followed the instructions and application went well. Easy clean up. I look forward to seeing how this looks in the coming years.

Loved this color in 2010 when I first had it applied to one wall. It is now on the entire living room area. It is more gorgeous in person. Will choose this purple over any other. The color is rich and luscious.

I’ve used C2 paint at my home in Boston but when we bought a place in Atlanta…no C2 store! So I had the paint shipped to my painting contractor (which was an easy process). The painters had never used C2 before and were quite impressed with it. I used Ice Fog for the entire main floor of the townhome. It’s a wonderful color, and I’m quite happy with the result.

Customer photo review of Bella Donna
Julia
Bella Donna was recommended by a designer in one of the House Beautiful magazine paint color books. Saw a photo of it in a living room with a contemporary fireplace and fell in love with it. We used it in our dining room when we moved in 16 years ago, and everyone loved the color. Many people think it is great and don’t even realize it is a muted lavender. This time we sprung for the Luxe paint and used an eggshell finish instead of flat. The color looks different on every wall, and each pigment...

We have long been fans of C2. When you go through all the prep work that is typically required in order to do a good job, it makes little sense to use a cheaper brand.

This is a 8/4 X18"X16" rough sawn stair tread. Stained then sanded with 120 grit, stained again then sanded with 120 then 240 grit then stained again and wiped with rag right away. We then put on two coats of minwax wipe on poly. Picture shows after first coat of poly. These look awesome in person and after 3rd coat of poly.

The stain color was perfect. Took a while to apply on our cedar fence as that wood kept sucking it all in. We grossly underestimated the amount needed, so ended up ordering more to finish the job. Overall very happy with the results and quick shipping of the stain order.

I have tried many paints and C2 Luxe is by far the best I've used. It goes on super smooth and coats perfect. As long as you keep a wet edge there are no visible thin spots after two coats. Also, it has very little splatter compared to other paints. I will be purchasing for all future paint projects.

Customer photo review of Monaco - C2-800

I wanted a neutral but with more depth for a kitchen with lots of darker earth tones. It’s difficult to capture the best of Monaco but its perfect. It reminds me of a nutty color most of the time but the play of light elicits a very subtle peachy glow. Its neutral with more interest than most neutrals I have seen. A definite hit.

C2 paint performed amazingly well for our home DIY mudroom project. We were referred to C2 by the YouTube channel, "Home RenoVision DIY". He used it and said glowing things about the paint and how they will ship-to-home, which alleviates a lot of the pandemic supply chain issues. We have more painting to do in our new home, so we expect to be purchasing more, delivered C2 paints.

Baba Ghanoush - C2-896 is a fantastic piant. I will surely be ordering more for my future projects around the house soon. It's a little more expensive than Benjamin Moore or sherwin Williams paints that I normally use. I can appreciate a good paint but I need to save up for the paint of my choice. My wife loves the piant as well but, she rather I buy a matching color for less from one of the pint makers mentioned above.

Gorgeous shade, I used it for nearly every room in my house. I had ordered UPCs and had them up for months before it was warm enough to paint. There was some initial concern that it wouldn't turn out like the UPC, but two coats and it looks perfect. Love the variation in the color based on light. Three of my cans were damaged in transit, but were replaced after emailing and then calling the company. Do no expect any follow up or help, it took me months before I was able to finally speak wit...

The C2 sandable acrylic primer is a little hard to find online to purchase, but the Vista Paint in San Diego near Mission Bay has a lot in stock, both sizes. You have to call them though, they are not online yet. I can't wait to try this! I'm fixing some old trim that they stapled upholstery to with thousands of staples.

I used Blackberry on the DR walls in our last home. When the sun beamed through the picture window you could see the actual color of a blackberry! Other times it was a luscious rich deep blue. We used gloss paint on the walls. Plan to use it again in our new home!
