Interesting color. Quality is good. A dark forest green. In low light it looks black, in bright light, it looks dark forest green. Unsure if I can use, but do like the color.
Black opal, with red, blue, green would be interesting, but likely not a possible paint color.

We ordered a bunch of paint chips in this color range, and they were all appeared similar at first, but were vastly different when we put them up around the kitchen. We taped them to our cabinets for a few days to feel out the different tones. This particular paint chip should have had the text printed in white, as you can see in the photo you can't read the word "espionage", but I suppose it fits the meaning! The chips themselves were high quality and incredibly helpful to choosing a color.

The colors and textures of this paint are absolutely gorgeous. I couldn’t stand the pure hues of other commercial paints and I’m so grateful to have found a paint company that understands how to blend hues for a more natural and nuanced color palette. I’m a big fan of C2 paint. My most recent project was painting my dining room chairs. C2 paint goes on so smoothly, with few or no visible brush marks, and dries to a beautiful, satiny finish. It’s easy to clean up the brushes with Fels Naptha soap and water. High quality paint and more complex colors than BM or SW.

Purchased the Honduran stain and really like the finished product. Repels water yet does not have a shin to the finish. Careful with how big of an area you attempt. Second coat needs to be applied before it dries. (approx 45 min)

Paint aside, the company stands behind their product and their shipping. We had an issue, they took care of it right away and sent out another unit. Now for the paint, Grade A! The best of the best. Would welcome more information about the 2nd coat wet approach. I was working on my deck which is 450 sq ft.
By the time I returned to my starting point there were area's that were dry and repelling.
My point being; I should have worked on a smaller area and finished before going on. For the information I could find; no one really quantified this piece.

C2 paints and primers are excellent quality. I like that the paints are thick enough, that they don't run and splatter all over the place. The coverage is exceptional, and cleanup is straight forward. These paints are pricey, but any good paint brand is. The results are great, if you do the prep work! I can't be satisfied with any other paint after having C2 in my home. The colors are so rich and deep. One coat is often all I need. I order from their plant near Rochester, NY, so it's a little less convenient to get but their customer service is fantastic.

I needed to touch up one wall of a powder room that was painted in the Fez color more than a decade ago. The new paint matched the old paint so well- there had been little or no color change over the years, just some wear and tear. Kind of an expensive product, but you do really get what you pay for. When we did our last painting project in our bathroom, we used Pratt & Lambert ceiling paint. This is no longer available in our area so I tried C2 ceiling paint. It covered beautifully and gives a nice subtle glow from the wall sconces. I highly recommend this product.

We applied C2 Guard-Monterey to our deck. Beautiful stain - medium tone with both warm and reddish tones. Love the easy clean up. Water does bead up on the surface as we'd hoped. One shipment was damaged and couldn't be delivered -- customer service was immediately responsive and issued a new order right away. We've always loved C2 house paint and we were happy to find the deck stain.

My front door was this color years ago (when we could still get paint at Daly’s in Seattle). We changed it, but have always missed this beautiful color.
Paint ordered and door will be Roasted Tomato again soon. It’s the most beautiful reddish orange or orange ish red or - indescribable. Just stunning.

Been testing this C2 guard out on some outdoor projects, and so far I'm loving it. It goes on super easily, but even better, it is really keeping the wood nice. Applied it to a shooting bench that sits in the sun all day, and it's doing great.
