I do believe this to be a wonderful product, and it does help with definition of curls (I also add water to my hair b4 and sometimes after adding the product); but my very short hair becomes too hard, even if it's still kept moist from within. I use two other products to keep my hair moist and soft! ...On the other hand, maybe I should mix some of this in a bottle of water to spray on. Thank you and God Bless!.

I only gave it a 4 because I have only been using it less than a month and that hasn’t been enough time to see if it will help my hair grow back in the balding areas. I finally bought a jar after seeing an ad for it on Facebook for $35 several years ago. I didn't know the price is $75 because I would've bought it for $35 long before now, I did get to use a percent off coupon. Anyway, I got my hair done & dyed which does dry my hair out more than normal (4C). Right now I can't give a better review as, my hair is soaking /sucking it up like the Sahara Desert until it's had all the hydration it needs, which will probably be in another week & then I can style it...
